FallenOne, 12 Oct 2019How's your experience with this phone as an actual a50 user? after 4 months of using this phone and counting...
I really love this phone! budget friendly phone.
fingerprint sensor works like a charm after the update.
with software update in a monthly basis.
pictures and videos quality improves a lot.
battery life is excellent...
There was a heating issue when I used it outdoor ( watching videos continously), ( note: my location is KSA so literally outside temp. is higher as well).
Overall , I am a satisfied A50 user.

At first, I was worried when I got the phone. I was wondering if it will meet my needs.
When I started to use it later, it met my needs more than enough.
The charging speed is good. It can be used very comfortably the entire day. Three cameras have a wide-angle mode. The pictures, which I took with this mode, are excellent.
The screen resolution is very very good.
There is also a fingerprint scanner which embedded in the screen. It's running a little slow. This property is very good if you compare it with the price.
I played high-resolution games fluently.
Advantages: Good battery life, High memory space, System fluency, Camera resolution.
Disadvantages: No NFC, Wireless charging, Heart sensor.
Finally, This phone is better than the other products which compared price-performance balance.

There is problem with Samsung A50. About 2 months after I purchased one on June 27th 2019 to be precise, the Samsung care center at Abuja changed the panel when it refused to power or charge and in less than 2 weeks after the screen blanked and changed into a blueish color and started cracking under my very watch including the screen cover - quite scary and this time around they (Samsung) refused to accept the fact that it happened insisting that it fell down probably to avoid the warranty obligation - really unfortunate. Well I left the phone with the MGS manager at Wuse 2 Abuja.
Whatsoever caused that ( maybe factory fault) can equally make it burn or explode.
Samsung should look into their warranty policy especially on newly manufactured phone models with a view of listening to their customers and treating them well after such spending.
I have used 2 or 3 Samsung phones including Galaxy J1 (6) in the past 10 years which were all good but for the battery issues.

Also you mentioned there are a lot of features in a50 that I might need as time goes by and regarding the build, I may need to have a strong back phone cover in case it drops and cracks even if it's gorilla glass 3. Your suggestion is acknowledged and highly appreciated, you sure you don't have a YouTube channel for phone reviews by any chance?
