I I have a Samsung A50 128/4 ... 2 years, and I am very satisfied, .. I really do not have any problem with this medium budget phone, everything works great, .. of course it can not be compared to the stronger and more expensive phones, BUT FOR ME IT IS A GREAT PHONE !! It will still be used for many years with Android 11, and will receive a security update every month. GREAT PHONE!

I've been using this phone since June 2019. This phone is recommended if you are a casual user. I don't recommend this for heavy gaming like Genshin Impact. I noticed this phone easily heat for now and the battery drain so fast than before. For 2021, I don't think I recommend this phone. Because Hey it's 2021, mid-range phones these days can support 90hz refresh rate, Good SoC for gaming with the same price at 2019. Also new Android updates! Because this phone ended up with Android 11.

The A50 will NOT be receiving any more Android updates everyone. It will be on Android 11 for as long as it will live. Also to people having heat problems, it's maybe because of the warm or cold temperatures of where you are? Mine doesn't overheat too much if I'm in a cool room.

Samsung A50 is very lovely phone when using it, the only challenge i face is with the screen,
The screen got broken and some ink came on it, at this time warranty did not cover it and the price was approximately half of a new A50.
As at now I have bought new screens thrice, now i have left it in my bag and am considering a new phone.

Only A51 and newer will get 3 major Android upgrades, For 2019 Samsung phones, only the flagships (eg. The Galaxy S phones) will get Android 12.

Got this A50 as a cast off from my wife as a short term replacement as I had smashed my Note8, but it works perfectly, and the cameras are excellent, so I will not be spending money on a "high" spec phone. The short term has already been extended to a 6 months, and I am going to keep using it. I would give it 4+ stars, absolutely nothing to dislike (but I do miss the wireless charging if I was being honest) Best free phone EVER!!

I've been using my A50 for well over 2 years now and I still get excellent camera quality even with wide-angle photos.
I only notice occasional lags, phone often heats-up, battery performance has reduced and sometimes the phone will just restart on its' own for no reason; otherwise it has been going strong.
Although I intend holding on to it till next year when they release Galaxy A53

2019? Yes. It was worth it
2020? Meh. Lots of bugs every update. Annoying bugs that literally make you want to throw away your phone and just buy a new one. Every update introduces new bugs, took months for them to fix.
2021. Haven't seen any bugs since latest update.
Anyone notice they removed wide angle from camera? :/
Camera: Very bad. Even iPhone 5s camera is better (and cheaper too)
Games: Can't even handle simple games. Laggy.
Buy a budget phone. These days a budget phone can perform better than this. It's not cheap nor expensive. But in term of performance I'll say it's not worth it.

This phone is a piece of junk. I have had for 2 years and nothing but trouble between not charging and then erasing everything. Do NOT buy.
