The Exynos SoC runs very hot and rather than allow thermal throttling Samsung engineered it so the outside of the phone will heat up instead. A50 has some of the hottest recorded surface temperatures of any recent device recorded at over 42C by notebookcheck.
The lack of power/thermal efficiency is why the battery life on this 4000maH battery is similar to other phones with only 3000mAh battery and a more power efficient Snapdragon SoC in the same range like 665, 670, 730, etc.
Samsung cheaped out on the speaker audio quality and antennas while artificially limiting LTE speeds as well, so it can have decreased signal on WiFi and mobile data.
Camera quality is low despite having 3 sensors on the back. Additional options like Wide angle is great but not if the image quality is going to be even lower than the regular pictures which are poor as well.
I went with Pixel 3a despite it costing about $150 more as it does not suffer from these issues and will have monthly software updates guaranteed until Android 12.

It's not working it's getting hot the screen keeps on blinking when I try to enter the pin after one or two key pressed it's off and again in few seconds it's on. If somehow I manage to unlock when I try to open any app after I click it open after a minute. The worst part is during this condition if someone calls it rings for the caller but for me (receiver) I'm unable to see or hear the phone ringing.

I Have the newest A50S also Redmi note 7 Pro
in my oppinion :
Samsung 48mp (A50S samsung ISOCELL) Camera not that good, Redmi note 7 pro night mode have much much much better result.
Samsung A50S Battery Drain very fast compare to redmi note 7 pro. I think this is number 1 A50S weakness, battery like a shit.
Samsung One UI Ecosystem sometimes a bit laggy, MIUI ecosystem is much faster in any circumstances.
What i like from samsung A50S
It have Earphone.
It have Original Fast Charger.
It have NFC.
Samsung No ads, while redmi have alot of ads.
Samsung had a better keyboard than Redmi.
One UI is very simple compare to MIUI.

Although I am a patron Samsung customer, using Samsung phones from a decade now. But this is the best phone I have ever got. After using the phone for 30 days, I have discovered many great features of this phone like:
1) Fingerprint sensor, gives you a great security, such that you can never unlock the phone using this fature. Regardless of whatever number of attempts you do, Samsung A50 will always give you a constant message "No match".
2) Great temperature control. In winters you can just put your phone in blanket and probably you will not require any extra heater.
3) Amazing voice quality. No matters how loud you speak, the other end person will not be able to get your mellifluous voice.
4) Great collection of Samsung useless apps. Samsung will try to annoy you with numerous apps, which cannot be uninstalled, that keeps on popping here and there.
5) I basically brought this phone for Mirrorlink, as honda city do not support Android auto. It has a Samsung car mode, which gives you POI, but when you try to navigate, it gives error no supported navigation apps. Not even google maps or others.. So, basically car navigation is also useless.
I do not know what another phone to buy but never expected this from my Samsung..
