This phone has been a crab since i bought it, it suddendly got problems with overheating recently, i took the device to a Samsumg Repair Center and they did not even know what was the issue and the screen got broken which was fixed by them before and due to this i lost the guarantee and now i am in the fight with them to see what can be done to fix it, i am very dissapointed of this phone, i bought it in April of this year i wish i could hace bought another phone instead :S

Inida got today Auguest update
While in middle east we are still on may update
So Samsung keeps ignoring us for the third month
I recommend everyone who doesn't live in east Asia to buy this phone because you won't get consistent updates
Samsung doesn't care about all it's customers

As you must seen the review of other in display FPS Smartphone like S10 or OnePlus. It is just as fast as they are.
You have not to wait for 1-2 sec. Just simply Tap & Unlock. It is now much faster than face unlock.
I hope this AUGUST update should be provided in All regions ASAP. Also for those regions who still not got June update, that should be provided ASAP, as that have cool features of camera like Night Mode , 960 FPS.

I have found that the when CSC is OJM i.e. Middle East no update have occured since May, we can exclude KSA which has gotten July security update
So bad from Samsung, a very good mobile phone a VERY VERY bad selective support

Charge your A50 to %100, use it normally (internet usage via Wi-Fi and messaging etc with around %30 to %40 brightness) until you reach %92 and tell me how long it took for you to reach that. (Go to Device Care>Battery>BatteryUsage and look at the "Screen" that has an orange icon on it. It will tell you the SoT)

For those who didnt get the update and are stuck on May update. Samsung brings the update every 3 months at max and you guys are prolly gonna get it with August security patch but if you dont wanna wait you can do it manually via using a windows PC

Egypt here and still stuck on may security patch . I guess samsung forgot about us . I am not sure why it takes so much time to release an update for all the regions at once instead of releasing update in patches

This Update is ABSOLUTELY CRAZY. Fingerprint Sensor is NOW become just 10 times better than earlier. It asks to remove earlier fingerprints and register new one.
This update also add Snapchat. But you can uninstall it.
Also this is with August Security Patch.
Thank You Samsung India....
Samsung also have to increase their update speed in other regions also. Because Internet have no walls. Informations travel around the globe. So Samsung beaware in other regions also.
