Amirboli, 20 Aug 2019Aha i uderstood what you said but was it that much usefull ... moreGot me an extra hour.
Normally I end up lwith %5 battery left with 9 hours and 6 minutes of SoT (checking it from both the device care and digital wellbeing) With Normal use, and low-end games
But now I got 10 hours of SoT with %7 battery left after playing more battery drainer games that force the GPU over the "normal" limits.

Amirboli, 20 Aug 2019July update made that differeces ?????No dude Im not dumb enough to not see that kind of a difference I mean battery life was improved a bit but this is on a whole different level. Also I check the battery life very frequently (3 times a day) so I know whats good. July update brang big improvements to you guys I already was getting 9 hours of SoT as bare minimum. But after turning it off (you know it had the front facing camera open all the time just to see your eyes) it had me going WAY longer than that even though I was playing half graphic-intense games like CSR2.

Khuan , 19 Aug 2019If you set the brightness of the screen too high, both IPS ... moreLet me correct smth: LCD doesn't have burn in, so it is good for long term usage, while amoled burn in appears in 3 years or more for average user.

After going through settings for a second time, I decided to close the "Smart Stay". At first I didnt mind it but then I decided to close it because it wasnt very useful to me. Videos keep the screen awake anyway so it was fine. And well what can I say I think battery life improved because It took the phone 5 hours and 43 minutes to get down to %50 battery even though I didnt only surf web but Also played games like Nitro Nation and CSR2. Gotta love the new longer battery life.

Khuan , 19 Aug 2019If you set the brightness of the screen too high, both IPS ... moreI use adaptive brightness. Don't worry about burn in, it takes 2-3 years to become visible. You can reduce burn in by switching to night mode and enabling blue light filter during night. My relative's s8+ still doesn't have burn in despite using it for 2 years.
