I bought that phone about 15 months ago. This is the best phone I ever got. Although the phone is middle range, the operating response is accurate and fast, so is the fast charging. I recommand it.

Today I got a second hand Galaxy A50 for dirt cheap in pretty good condition. It came with One UI 3.1 update Android 11. Set it up and install all the apps I require.. I got 6 Hours SOT on 100 percent to 15 percent. I was just setting up the phone and installing apps, no heavy operations. Is it normal or is my battery running out fast?

And you're saying that you used your A51 for 1.5 years(it hasn't even been released for that long) and after that 1.5 year period, you used the A50 for 1.5 years. Either you're lying or you don't know how much you've used the phones.

Dont buy this phone. It freezes and you get your texts and phone calls days later. Plus it tells you have no internet. When you have unlimited.

I bought a Samsung A51 phone on my plan and after 1.5 years the charging port stopped allowing the phone to charge. I bought new charging chords and nothing helped. Was told the cost to fix wasn't worth it so I payed it out and bought an A 50. Low and behold after 1.5 years the same thing happened and I was very careful at plugging in the charger. Samsung is no longer at the top of my list for a new phone.

Worst device after latest updates to Android 11 and figured out that once the device is heated up then the restart will occur and the problem not solved yet, so when using power saving mode then it will not restart and keep still then it will restart automatically after overheating, I think the issue in firmware and especially April and may be the kernel not managing the HW CPU and ram well, any suggestions to help ?

Samsung A50 is worst phone I have ever used. After the update, there are issues on System UI hanging and many Apps crashing all of sudden. Worst update from Samsung. This was not expected from a brand like Samsung. Reminds me of Samsung NOTE devices catching fire with faulty batteries. Such a shame, Samsung !!

Do not buy this defective phone, it's absolutely a waste of money.
First, the internet connectivity is so poor that it cant even play video on 480p, meanwhile my other 5 years old phone can play 1080p with ease. I have this 50s for longer than half a year now and none of the system upgrades deployed ever solved this problem, it even got worse in certain extend.
Second, the screen is glitchy, it is sometimes unresponsive to touches, or too sensitive at the edge of screens so you cant hold the phone in your palm. It even starts processing input that never happened and just flicker like crazy.
Just don't waste your money
