If you do it right you can get 10 hours of SoT. For normal use that is, if you play GTA it will go down to 7. Restrict app consumptors and use device health

For anyone whose batter drains at abnormal rates, it's your device that's faulty. How do I know? Well, I charge my phone to 100%, then let it sit for an hour two with WiFi or 4G on, AOD on, some background apps running. After more than an hour when I check it, guess what? It's always still at 100%. It's incredible.
That said, the battery does drain quickly when using camera, hotspot, heavy gaming, which is normal for any phone.

Quite satisfied with the phone altho I'm not sure how some of you get such an insate SoT. I'm averaging between 6 max 7h SoT. Apart from that it's a good phone camera is good multi tasking is alright for me. I had one strange issues where the phone died when charging not sure why I could only start it again by holding the volume up and down buttons combined with the power button. If anyone could share their experiences with their unit that'd be great. Cheers

I have the 6GB/128GB GN dual sim version from the Philippines. First thing I did was download the May update then wipe/reset the phone from boot loader menu. Haven't debloated it yet, but with approx 50 apps freshly installed and being used and the wireless and gps always on, I get 3 days of use out of the phone before I need to throw a charge at it. I don't see any stuttering or slowdowns as of yet. The camera had the 'beauty' feature auto enabled which distorts photo's horribly and washes out the colors, turn that off immediately.
Using T-mobile I verified it does has radio channel 12 and 13 by going out to the mountains and using the *#0011# command to view the information.

Whats t... moreshut off you device,hold down the power button with the bottom volume at the same time for 5 sec,after that you go to clean cache partition then restart, if it doesnt work and still draining the battery, factory reset it.

Hi, does this phone have proximity sensor? I cannot see proximity sensor in *#0*# menu, I think this phone uses front camera as proximity sensor. Can somebody confirm?

If AOD is set to always on, battery drains. A50 does not let you to use the advantage of AMOLED. Also samsung should give notification led on screen (it should be possible since it is AMOLED). No notification led is a very bad disadvantage.
