go to settings -> display...find accidental touch protection and turn it on, there's touch sensivity option under the accidental touch protection...turn off that option if you feel your touch screen is too sensitive

Anonymous, 10 Jun 2019what about one ui ads?SAMSUNG's user interface for Android - One UI is a UI which 100% do not have any ads at all.
If your SAMSUNG Galaxy phone has ads, then it is the app / apps that pre loaded or downloaded got ads.
Just go to find out the app / apps and uninstall them, then the ads will disappear automatically.

Hi, I just bought A50 today. I was wondering if anyone is experiencing Screen sensitivity like me. My A50's screen is super sensitive. When I lock my phone, it will register touches even though I only touched the sides and borders of the phone (not the screen).
What I meant by registering touch is that the screen will light up (when I lock it) as if I'm touching the screen of the phone. But it doesnt always happens only sometimes. Anyone encountering this? is it normal? Ive updated my phone's software already. I really need to know so I can bring it back to the shop if its not normal/bug or something.

Sandy , 10 Jun 2019When we will get the june software update May be it is already in pipeline. But it already got back to back 3 Security Updates. Finger crossed for June Security Patch.
Samsung have to add Battery Optimization in next update.

Anonymous, 10 Jun 2019what about one ui ads?There are no ads in System UI. If you get any ad on pre-loaded apps you can easily disable or uninstall it.
It is not like MIUI.
One UI is feature rich UI which makes it better than other.
Android Q is going to enable Dark Mode but it is already on One UI (Android Pie).

Some reviewers pander to poor people who buy Xiaomi phones. You won't get the Samsung experience anywhere else. It's not just about hardware, but all the software features you get like a customisable Always On Display and video lock screen, plus all the settings you can play with.

After using this phone for a month and previously using a Xiaomi, I am overall very happy with the Samsung A50.
First of all, this phone never gets hot (and I work in a hot environment).
The cameras are great, albeit pretty average at taking night photos (which is standard for smartphones).
In terms of biometrics - the finger print scanner tends not to work if your fingers get dirty (as they do in my job), but otherwise is fine when hands are clean. But the facial recognition is really good.
In terms of the UI I really like the simplicity of One UI.
Phone is not too light to not feel it on you and not too heavy for pockets.
The AMOLED display is amazing, and in this range is satisfying to use.
The one speaker can get loud, however, tends to be on the higher frequency range with lesser output of lower bass frequencies. Using headphones is really good though.
I never have any issues with lag, although I have not tried any demanding games, but I use many apps at once and many chrome tabs and have no issues.
Battery life is great, phone will last the whole day when using it consistently for lesser apps at work.
