I bought A30 for m... moreSamsung is doing the same "marketing" as other chinese phones. They used dslr photos to promote note 8 camera. They said s10's selfie camera is better than other phones rear camera which is ,of course, not true. They said that glasstic is a mix between glass and plastic but it's shown that it's just plastic. They made a lot of ads mocking the notch and the removal of headphone jack but now all of their phones have notch and some doesn't have headphone jack(note 10,a60 ,a80,a8s) . They were caught slowing down their smartphones.
I'm not trying to defend chinese phones. But I just want to say that no one is innocent.

The A50 available on my country (Morocco) only got 4gb of RAM (I've checked on parameters), but still 128 gb of storage. I thought that because I got 128 gb of storage, I would got more RAM , but nope. Beware of the "local variations" of such model.

I'm... moreA30 and A50 are very similar, both have the same battery and screen, but A50 has a faster processor and more memory,plus better cameras.It depends on you, if you play light games then A30 won't be bad, but if you want a faster device take A50.

A50 or A30? Is paying the extra cash for A50 worth it?? I'm not a demanding user. I need a decent phone to go through social medias,read GSMarena articles and watch youtube videos. I play games here and there.a great battery life would be amazing.i managed to pull my old Iphone 5 for an almost day with the small battery it got pretty sure both of these will give me good battery life.what do you guys think? A50 or A30? Thanks in advance

hey craddan,if battery draining bothers you this much buy a power bank. If not return the phone and buy a energizer phone.

i always left my phone turned on while i sleeps, the battery drain from 10% to 15%

In my country, Malaysia, SAMSUNG sell the Galaxy A-series with the same price as HUAWEI, oppo and vivo. But SAMSUNG gives a brilliant Super AMOLED display (except A10 and A20 using a PLS TFT display) and a faster charger.
And the rest, since my English is poor, so I cannot understand what you are saying.

I bought A30 for my mother, and she has no complaints about the phone.All good (long battery life,snappy processor,huge sAMOLED display...)
I am planning to get A50 in the next few weeks.
By the way chinese OEMs rely on fake ads not samsung, or should I mention huawei using DSLR shots to fake the phones camera quality,cheating also on benchmarks to make their phones look faster,or xiaomi who posts nonsense durability videos, like redmi note 7 breaking a melon, while in real life he failed durability tests.....
And craddan:If 30 people out of (lets say in india alone) more than 3 million users complained about some problems, then their phones have defects, not A50 is horrible or bad.

If you work wirh a70 will say a50 doesn't have any problem.
A30, a10, m30 and m40 is awful so.
Samsung cant battle prices with china brand.
So they use other good phone in several years ago for selling and maybe have good selling this year but at next year i think Samsung can sell s series only.
Samsung like apple only hqve good selling with fake advertisement and you see now they have fake news also.
How want after now later by iphone.
What iPhone has?
Really nothing and only is brand with that much prices.
But i think samsung have other senario.
They use of good products in several years ago and after this year no one buy Samsung phone justt s or note series.
HUAWEI, XIAOMI, VIVO, ONE PLUS and.... ALL OF THEM HAVE AT MINIMUM ONE SUPER AMOLED supplier and it means by apple and Samsung.
Attention many news of 2 this comny fake and is only for advertising for selling.
But people know what's smart phone now.
