Poco and a50 have the same battery size
Poco f1 camera captures more details than a50 and better lowlight photos but a50 has better colors
Poco has better audio quality and stereo speakers
Samsung has a more beautiful design albeit being plastic
Poco has faster fingerprint sensor but a50 has a more trendy underdisplay sensor
Poco has 3d face recognition that can be used unlike a50 which has a useless 2d one(I don't recommend anyone to use it )
Samsung has a far better display with infinity contrast more accurate colors and higher brightness
Samsung has more screen to body ratio
Samsung has android pie. Poco has also android pie but it was launched with oreo. So I expect it to stuck on android Q while a50 get one more update android R
Samsung has better after sale services
Poco is slightly cheaper but you can find some deals on a50
Samsung has way better software especially if custom roms are not your cup of tea
Samsung has better selfie camera
Samsung has a wide angle camera
And samsung comes with headphones in the box

Fossil, 24 May 2019What should i buy Samsung Galaxy A50 or Poco F1?.......Can ... morePoco F1 has a VERY fast chipset, the Snapdragon 845, decent cameras, kinda bad MIUI and a good battery capacity. Buy this if you want to play high-quality games and no lag on using any apps while saving money. Comparable to the Galaxy S8 in performance.
Galaxy A50 has a much better camera, an AMOLED display, a much bigger battery but a slower yet more battery-saving chipset. Buy this if you want to just simply browse the web or chat with friends, or occasionally play some 2D games. It's a decent phone but kinda expensive when you compare it to it's most similar competitor, the Redmi 7, they both lag a bit sometimes.
I would recommend the Poco F1 in this case, since while the device uses LCD, it's very fast and it can last up to 5 more years from now without any sort of serious lag. Mid-rangers like the Galaxy A50 will become obsolete within the same time.

Anonymous, 24 May 2019Craddan your phone has a problem, that doesn't mean every A... moreI was not complaining just stating the fact..and I am using the device like that ..and you seem to think in every country samsung has a good service centre..I would rather sell the phone than take it to service centre here( if I do my phone will sleep in Samsung office for a month and at the end it wont be fixed ).. I have never used a phone up to a year b4 ..so am waiting for the k20 to be released...apart for the standby drain the phone is good .how can I sleep in the night by 9 wake up by 4am and my battery drained from 84 percent to 72 percent with always on display switched off .auto sync switched off..only wifi turned on
