And yes I agree a50 is a better deal

The Redmi Note 7 that we are getting in Malaysia is the downgraded model (MTK processor, Fake 48MPx camera etc) but overpriced compared to India. Definitely not a match for A50.
The A50, on the other hand, is one of the cheapest in Malaysia. You can get it for as low as RM999 on shopee.
If camera is more important to you, then maybe you can look into the Oppo F11 or the ViVo V15.

Everyone please protect your Galaxy A50 rear camera setup
My one scratched and i am sad(25mp camera lens scratched little bit)
But i don't notice a difference in camera quality so far
Be careful and try to buy a camera lens protector with a screen guard
(I didn't expect this to happen to a brandnew phone)

Samsung A50 signal is so poor.
You will notice it when you come to poor signal area or inside building.
You can compare with other phone with same simcard provider..
Anyone who have same problem with me??

Coming from a really budget phone (Samsung J1 mini), I've come to love this phone so much! Although, there are just some things that I didn't like, especially the fingerprint sensor. It's so bad that i don't use it to unlock my phone. It takes so long to register that it's not practical it anymore. I'd rather stick with the traditional pattern unlocking feature. I still use it, though, for some apps, especially that ones that need extra security. BTW, I already updated my software, which even says on its included updates, "The performance of Fingerprint recognition has been improved"... No change on improvement! :D I already I didn't bother using the face unlock, because it's not as accurate as well. the Always On Display is not that accurate either, when you put your phone in front of your face, even on normal lighting, so I just turned it off. The camera's fine. It doesn't stink, but it's not the best either. Stating that I came from a budget phone, this camera is already a huge upgrade for me.
Also, I'm not sure if it's me doing something wrong, but for some reason, when I restarted my phone one time, All of the apps that I transferred to my SD card got erased. I wasn't able to recover them anymore, or I just didn't know how to, but I ended up reinstalling them anyway, and just kept them in my internal storage. I read about it online, and I think my SD card was to blame, because it's not speedy (?) enough to be in par with my phone? Well, my SD card's a lame one anyway. It's a generic card that says class 10, but this is my first time experiencing this. I plan to upgrade it to a UHS-II soon and see if any changes will happen, but If anyone is reading this, please give me some insights.
Other than the mentioned "issues", I love the performance of this phone! The size is perfect for my hands, every swipe and press is fast and accurate, gaming is smooth to the highest settings, Internet browsing is fast, and it just has a lot of features that my previous phone didn't, in which I can customize and run the phone the way I want it to.
I've been using this phone for a month now, and this is my opinion.
