Samsung A7 2018 or A50?I'd say without doubt A50. The A50 is slightly more lightweight (166g instead of 168g), but still have a significantly bigger battery (4000 mAh, instead of 3300mAh).
The A50 have also relatively limited fast charging (15W, you can find much better on other models).
Instead of two big black bezel stripes at bottom and top of A7 2018, the body is almost fully covered by the screen on A50. (~84.9% screen-to-body ratio instead of 74.4%).
This have a cost, there's a notch on the A50, but it's almost the less intrusive design of it that Samsung can offer (infinity-U, but the infinty-O might be nicer).
There's USB-C on the A50, which is a more convenient USB connection, and that should be adopted by all smartphones in long-term.
Oh, and the A50 is also supposed to have better performance (around 8%, if I the reference is the Basemark OS II 2.0 test).
Now if you can get A7 2018, at a significantly cheaper price, and you don't care that much of such differences, then why not).

I'm happy with eveything about the A50 considering the Price payed and all is well but I have just one issue:
They have a double tap function to unlock phone but not to LOCK it... any suggestions regarding this matter?
Who do we speak to at Samsung to make a suggestion to add a feature in their latest update?

Hello all i a m from pakistan bought a50 2 weeks ago network signals are poor used the huawei honor 8x oneplus 5t nokia lumia 730 no signal problems but with a50 i am just getting one or 2 bars but in good area its full reset the network settings and every thing just wanna ask is there any problem with antenna of my device as rest of devices i mentioned didnt have single problem with signals any suggestions ???? Mine is 128gb 6gb version

I have bad experiences about a50. when used for calling using any messenger application, the sound quality produced through earphones is very bad even when used simultaneously watching youtube or music, the sound quality also decreases. the fact is when I use media without making voice calls the sound was clear. also there is no full manual option in camera settings, even though all other manufacturers in the same segment have it.

After software update fingerprint sensor is working faster than earlier but the audio quality with speaker is not clear & through earphone is not good because Dolby system don't support & battery also drain little bit with average use lasts till 1 day. Camera quality in low light & indoor is also not good. I hope Samsung will fix in next update. Waiting for the next update.

I am using last one week. I am facing an issue when I close whats app/messenger and lock the screen I don't get notifications. No messages deliver to me unless I open Whats App/messenger. My Model is SM - A505F/DS. Serial number R58M33RBY0A. Purchased in Qatar.
I think I tried everything to fix it.... Here's what I tried....
Battery optimising is OFF.
Notification is on for these apps.
I put Whats App/ Messenger in the unmonitored app list in the battery settings,
I'm in performance mode,
I cleared cache/data.
I uninstalled Whats App, reinstalled it fresh not from a restore.
Is there anything else I should do to fix this? I learned in google it says I have to disable Doze . How to do this. Can install disable doze app? Please help me some one..

Why is my A50 heating up? It is only 3 days when i bought this and it is heating up? And i just observed that every 5 mins it minus 1 percent
