I was so freaking close to purchase this but then someone said something about a battery draining issue so here I am looking for answers.is it true guys?

I got it and is just very good, even A30 with fake reviews but my mom bought it and she is very satisfied.

Solution :Buy premium ear phones
Samsung provides you with the same ear phone provided with the lowest priced samsung device .
In comparison to a midrange sony and even some lowend xiaomi devices it's true audio quality is poor.
But its not a big deal for everyone.
Maybe for some who have special requirements of sound.

Anyone face problem with smart alert?

I have bought this phone a week back and realized a bad decision on following accounts ,
1. Music Audio quality is totally disappointing, there is no crisp , higher frequencies are not audible, bass is also not good . Dolby Atmos and Ultra High upscaler have no effect on ears. Forget audiophiles, average music lovers also should not go for this buying. They would feel great disappointment and waste of money.
2. Call sound quality is not also not clean, sometimes you may have to make effort to understand the speech of caller.
3. There is problem in touch sensitivity, while you touch, its shadow tells it is touched but the action will not take place.
4. You will feel lag in in several operations, not felt crisp
All these four qualities I compared with my existing 2 years old low cost phone(Rs10000) and found A50 at lower side which no buyer can expect before hand .
Camera , model build and Super Amoled are plus side of A50 , otherwise my advice, don't buy

Speaker is not so clear & should improve more in camera especially in low lights pics. Battery is also draining little bit.
Hope Next update samsung will fix this.

When you pickup phone A50 from on table
Display automatically turn on and .
in notifications area you will see all notifications..
Than again vibrating is senseless.
That's why developers disabled smart alert vibration in A50.
I know your guss .
When the phone in lower pocket .
You will not feel smart alert vibration..hahhaa
This is for only a50 .
Others phone smart alert vibration work fine ..

Yogiyoga, 30 Apr 2019403 ppi density is little low as per competitors concerned.Human eyes can't really tell the difference when ppi is above 400.
Also the higher the ppi, the more it consumes the battery. So i think it's better to have ~400 ppi than ~500 ppi when it comes to battery efficiency.

It has a much more powerful SOC that should give plenty of headroom for future increase in processing for apps, capable camera sensors (also used in iPhone xs series, Google pixel 3s, and other Xiaomi flagships) that also supports gcam (it has camera 2 api enabled while the a 50 didn't) that perform way better than the a 50 in both low light and normal photos (but this is base on image quality wise, a 50 have more versatile camera). Great battery life (Also it's pretty easy to replace once it was completely degradated). And Xiaomi usually have much longer software support than Samsung...

Quick question, i found a new base model Xiaomi mi 8 64/6 for around 20usd cheaper than the 64/4 version of the a50...which one should i pick and why... because i think the a50 was overhyped...

so guys i am considering to purchase the A50 128 gb but i have doubts about it as i want the phone to last me at least 3 years or more so if anyone of the USERS that own one of these A50 has had any trouble problems or anything of that matter can you please inform me by replying thanks in advance for the help
