You give the "little to no" notch design away for "tf is this notch" design
You get a more powerful chipset

Samsung themselves produce camera, while Xiaomi is buying from third party (either Sony, Samsung or Omni).

There are a lot of better phones at the same price or cheaper with mord powerful processors like redmi note 7 pro, poco f1, honor play, the upcoming realme 3 pro and mi a3(also it's rumored to have super amoled display) asus zenfone 5z and every sd660 phone
