This "A" lineup is completely new and has no link to previous A series devices. This lineup has approximately 9 phones starting from A10,A20/A20E,A30,A40,A50,A60,A70,A90. The first four devices are below 20k, A50 and A60 are under 20-30k. A70 and A90 will be over 30k. So keep it in mind that these completely different range and nothing may vary with the previous lineup.

Poco has a stereo speaker setup while A50 has only one speaker. On the camera department, these two phones stand out with different advantages. A50 has a brighter aperture on main camera (f1.7 vs f.1.9), a main camera with higher megapixel count (12MP vs 25MP) and an additional 8MP wide angle camera. On the other hand, Poco can capture 4K videos, has a night mode for better low-light photography and capture slow-motion videos. Both of the phones have 5MP depth sensors. Neither of these two has OIS. For selfies, A50 has a 25MP shooter with f2.0 aperture while Poco has a 20MP shooter with f2.0 aperture, selfie performance of these two should be very close These two phones have 4000mah batteries. Thanks to its SuperAMOLED screen, A50 should have slightly better battery endurance. Both of the phones are made of plastic. SuperAMOLED panels are considerably better than IPS panels. Prices of these two phones are nearly the same. For general use, A50 is the better option as it has a SuperAMOLED screen and secondary wide angle shooter. For gaming purposes or an future-proof device, Poco F1 is the better option.

I read the specs and saw the pics & and it seems a really good phone ...
If anyone knows ... is it produce a clear sound specially in earphones , I asking about sound quality here , and what earpieces that come with it ? Is it a good quality or at least in ear ones ? Or jut the regular earphones ??
And what about screen colours accuracy? ?
Please reply me coz I really thinking about it

I just wish this could have had IP68!
I have a Galaxy A5 2017 (this phone's TWO YEAR OLD predecessor) and it has IP68. I'm an extremely careless owner and with this phone I discovered IP68 is a must for me.
I may be searching for a new phone this year and this A50 has disappointed me. At least ONE A series phone should have IP68 this year because I'll need a new phone in the budget section.

Night mode can turn off the pixels in Super amoled and it works great as a battery saver plus vibrant display so its way way better than that lcd ips.... Eyes got strain when i used it for almost 3 years. Its too dim and always bluish !!

If you want only the best performance then buy poco f1
Otherwise wait for poco f2
