Anonymous, 30 May 2020Nope bro. Many mid range phones M30s M31 M21 uses the same ... moreOk. But what i am pointing out is that the previous commenter stated "all" midrange phones..so clearly, not all midrange samsung phones has this chipset. I made it clear that not all midrange phone has this chipset.

Im using the one with the 6gb RAM. So far, no app freezes or anything like that..maybe, in the long run, but so far it is running ok for me.

Yes I am using a 4gb ram model and the phone is laggy. Lots of stutters while using even the settings. And too many apps keep running in the background without me using them like Samsung galaxy store Samsung messages etc... I understand to a certain degree there will be apps running in the background but these are quite annoying...

Kinda agree on some points, especially on the camera.

But not all midrange Samsung phone has this chipset. A51 has this, too. And it ismore expensive than this phone.

I wont even call it laggy. Its pretty fast actually. But remember, its a midrange, so hiccups in performance are definitely gonna occur after sometime. Even flagships stutter in the longer run.

By far the worst phone I have ever used.
                1) Completely choppy experience.
                2) App freeze is like a normal affair.
                3) Camera clarity sucks except for in a few occasions. Shutter speed is so slow capturing the right moment is near to impossible. Worse even, Google cam is not supported
                4) Heats up even during the normal day to day task and literally boils when playing games like pub g or call of duty.
                5) Apps which are never used or even opened keeps running in the memory and no way to disable them either. Android pie had the option of disabling these apps. Apps like galaxy store, Samsung messages
                6) all the cheaper mid range phones have the same chipset from Samsung.
                7) Not to mention the slow fingerprint scanner
                8) Battery life is seriously not good for 4000mah.
                9) security updates are forgotten news from February.

Is there anything good about this phone except for the gimmicky amoled tech they use. Nope.

lightning9 , 15 May 2020You mean flash works at 48 mp on your A50s? When did this u... moreWell, it somehow fixed but again it's Autoflash, so the flash option only gets available if it's too dark. You can't use the flash option anytime. Based on the A50s Facebook page, it said that the recent update (700mb+) rectified that concern (I'm from the Philippines by the way). This does not really bother me, though, as i dont use the camera that much.

Yes, i've seen better 48mp photos from other phones but the ones you specifically mentioned are flagships (i think) so maybe, the 48mp claim may be more of a marketing ploy. But, there really is a difference in comparing, say, a 48mp camera from a budget realme phone to even a 12mp or lower megapixeled camera from a much expensive Iphone. So lets not expect the universe from our humble A50s hahahaha

I checked with Samsung itself & they said that there's no flash in 48mp mode. I used to have an S4 & the A50s low light pics are comparable to the S4's 12-13 mp shots. Shots in good daylight are comparatively better though. However, when I compare the A50s shots with my N808, they are no where near 48 mp. The 808 takes pics at around 34-38 mp in it's 41 mp mode & it literally destroys the A50s in both light & low-light cases. I know the 808 has a better sensor, but still..Samsung not giving the flash option for the 48 mp mode is real nonsense. If the A50s had a better sensor, it might not have been that bad.

While I agree that the 48mp camera isnt really the best, the difference of using it instead of the 12mp (or 16mp) mode is that you get clearer details when zooming in pictures.

Did a little more testing. The 48 mp mode is pretty ok only in bright daylight conditions. It's also best to be in the photo mode so that it's software can optimize the photo for best results. In low light, the 48 mp mode gives out only a 12 mp pic. For some ludicrous reason, flash is not an option in 48 mp mode. If the flash was available, the picture quality would be better in low light. Hope Samsung has the brains to fix this lousy issue of flash not available at 48 mp. Same goes for night mode.

                              Camera Not 48MP: it's a joke . May be 4.8MP.
                              Battery last 12hr to 18hr.
                              User experience worse.
Has to sell again in 5days

The A50s is nice in general, but the so called 48 mp main cam is a lousy joke. It's more like a 12 mp at max. May be it's actually 4.8 mp & the 48 is a typo error. Btw, is the flash option available for the fake 48 mp mode?
