Before, Samsung is a trusted brand when it comes to smartphone cameras and now they are making us believe that their phone has the best quality of photos just because of the high MPs they "put" in it. Very disappointing

Btw if you don't have enough penny to get yourself a flagship one, go to Greenhills. You can find flagship phones there with big price drops.

I bought Samsung A50 on 13-Dec-19 and today on 17-Dec-19 I am selling it off.
Worst things is its battery, it doesn't last for one day even. by 4-5pm you will need a recharge.
Finger print scanner too is horrible, quite often it refuses to recognise your registered fingers.
From the day one it hangs 2-3 times a day.

Bought 6GB Varient. great phone for business people under 25k. those who care about security and privacy should buy samsung phones. Samsung Knox is very important. this phone have everything you need.

samsung galaxy A series has the worst camera quality! my newly bought A50s of supposed to be 32MP front & 48MP rear was low quality & yellowish! to found out it has only 12MP rear & 5MP 8MP front only! really disappointing! it's been already replaced by a new unit on the 7days warranty but it's still the same! so I brought it back again to the service center & they confirmed the issue so it was repaired & replaced the camera parts got from the samsung main office. & it's still the same! I am requesting a refund but Samsung Service Center SM North Edsa declined my request just because they compared it to the same unit with same issues of low quality & yellowish telling me from their own mouth! & told no defective because it's the same?? I don't deserve this. I gave you chances. I can't let this happen! it is not a small amount only! it's 18,990k! so I should get what I paid for & what they have been told the people of 32MP front & 48MP rear camera resolution it should have! if they don't give me a refund, I will complaint it to the DTI and bring all the proof & evidence of how it really has a low quality & yellowish & justify the low camera resolution/specs it really has just to get justice about this! So I doubt to all A series that they have the same problem I had in my phone. 😒

Honest opinion after using it for 2 months.
Got the prism white. In my opinions looks sophisticated so chose that colour...
Interface is rather not customized well for a midrange device like this.
Camera is good though I wouldn't rate it outstanding especially in the video department
Finger print is the worst in my opinion. Doesn't read my fingerprint most of the times. Used it with and without a screen protector.
Speaker is extremely annoying and irritating at higher volumes.
Battery life is average, doesn't feel like 4000 mah
When compared to m30s there is an addition of nfc, Samsung pay and slightly better camera.
It's your choice. If you dont to buy Chinese and need something different you can go for this.

No software update will fix the bad fingerpr... moreA slight up in the reliability of the finger print scan after the soft update (70% success 30% fail in my take) compared to previous 50-50, at least i dont need to smash it out of frustration & go out buy a new one, if its a hardware problem it'll be otherwise regardless of updates.
