Got an iPhone 7 with backlight bleed and iOS was too restrictive for my taste so back to Samsung it is. Than I bought the A50 which sucked in every aspect and now switched to a different brand. I also had to send back four A50's because the displays were awful and apparently there is no more quality standard for Samsung.

I lose more reapect to Samsung each year as they keep imitating the iphone designs. Samsung was the only brand that made android worth it, because they were doing their own thing. Now i know what to expect from Samsung before they announce any new products. All i have to do is watch the Apple announcement event and i know Samsung will follow suit in terms of design.
It's fair to say that Samsung is having an identity crisis when it comes to the camera layout and the glowing neon back design. Not only this but they suffer an extreme lack of quality control as they push out so many new models each year that are getting more and more crappy. I never thought i would say this but I'm seriously considering the switch to IOS.

They use the same sensors across new releases by buying a large quantity for cheap. And they are located in China which makes it really easy to source parts.
Not to break your delusion but you should know that Google's business relies on gathering and selling data. If you are worried about that you should buy an iPhone, not any safer but they hopefully aren't selling data...

The chinese likely sell the informations gathered or gain from ads shown on the phones to make the profit lost to the low sale price.

I agree that some apps are bloat, but you should consider that what you consider as bloat is a useful app for another user. For example, I use bixby routines to adapt my phone with my routines at university... While others may regard it as useless.

I actually have no interest in flashing a custom ROM but if I was going to do that it would be unneccessarily difficult.
It's just like Apple; use pull tabs for battery so that it looks like it's easily replacable, and then bond the battery to the logic board via code.

Just asking regarding your point on "actual experience" since you didn't say you have an A51.
Btw, mentioning the ability to find and disable those extra Facebook apps doesn't validate that part of your point since we now know we CAN disable those apps, thank you. Now, I've never owned a Xiaomi, but you could at least prove that you can remove Xiaomi's own bloat up to an equal or higher effect than on your Samsung.
About custom ROMs and Knox, well, sounds like you weren't even trying. Some people have actually flashed the very tablet you have. For a phone of the same brand, piece of cake.
To be fair though, Samsung isn't any better than any other brands with all of the bloat, restrictions and limited software support as you mentioned, so your point checks out.

If Samsung really cared about security they would push monthly security updates to the Galaxy Tab S5e, not quarterly. Think about that first before commenting nonsense. My Redmi Note 8 also has quarterly security updates but I didn't pay 419 euros for it, unlike the Tab S5e...
You should look up the difference between bias and actual experience.
