My Tab S5e appears to be affected aswell because it has bad grey uniformity...

Not at all like their flagship panels.

Samsung is still learning to produce decent quality mid-ranger smartphones, but not quite there yet. Last year, Samsung reserved most of its AMOLED capacity for Apply, but Apple only used half of that reserved capacity. Samsung had to deal with that left-over AMOLED capacity and started to stuff their lower-priced phone with AMOLED screens to some good effect.

The selling point of Samsung A51:
      1) AMOLED display.
      2) Decent camera setup for phones priced under $300.

      The weak points of A51:
      1) Exynos 9611 (10nm) is a weak SoC even for a mid-ranger. Exynos 9611 (Antutu 150000) is in the same old group with SD660 (145000), SD675 (175000), SD710 (168000), intended for late 2018 and early 2019 mid-rangers. Starting in the 2nd half of 2019, most phone makers had already switched towards newer chips, such as SD730 (220000), SD730G (250000), Kirin 810 (260000), Helio G90T (285000). Starting with 1st half of 2020, phone makers are moving on with even newer mid-ranger chips, such as SD765G (300000), Exynos 980 (>320000), Dimencity 800 (>350000). Who in the right mind would want to buy a newly released mid-ranger with Exynos 9611 (150000)? This 2020. (Yes, Samsung has a large left-over stock of old chips that need to be dealt with. The right place to put these chips will be Samsung M10s, A10s.)

      2) Low build quality. The front looks decent, but the rest of body a pure plastic mess, cheap and cheaply shiny.

Besides You can disable ads easily in miui so it's not big deal
And one more thing the hardware in their phones are great also for the price unless you compare a midrange phone with a flagship.

So it's cheaper for a reason.

                          unfortunately it discharges battery !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! charges a 50 _ a50 s very good...........

It looks good and all, but this phone costs almost twice the price of Redmi Note 8 Pro. The only advantage it has over the RN8 Pro is the Amoled display. OTOH, the Redmi has better CPU, more RAM(6GB) in base configuration, bigger battery, Gorilla Glass 5 and likely a better camera setup.

Will this phone receive Android S? Released as Android Q and it's in 'Galaxy A' line up, will this have at least 2 major OS updates in the future?
