I bought this phone last October 2020 and until now my phone is still in good condition. The only issue i got is when gaming sometimes it freeze for a few seconds then back to normal. This happen when i update its software to android 11 one ui 3.1.

          GSM arena's review of Samsung A51 is not up to the standards.
          1. SD card support limit is not discussed.

              My A51 suddenly died after 16 months of use. Device stopped working, screen got completely frozen and I could not restart it. I tried several times to do a basic reset without a response. Later I took it to a technical service where they tested screen (switched for a new one), battery and data buses. No response. I wanted to recover some sensitive data I did not manage to backup before phone finally broke up, but it was impossible. Finally I authorized a hard reset, but it did not work. Dignostic, motherboard. Of course the phone is unrecoverable and most likely I will buy a new one. I never had any other cell phone different that samsumg, but at this point, I am pretty disappointed with the company. Be careful when buying this phone, it seem that many either users are facing the same problem. Thanks

                In terms of value for money, this is the best phone ever during the year of its release. Functionality, yes, it is the best too.

                  After getting the One UI 4.0, my A51 has an error when I tried to play recorded calls.
                  It says "Unable to play during calls".
                  Waiting for a reply.

                    Is anyone else having issue with keyboard typing speed? it is so slow even for my arthritic fingers...lol. Can't make it go any faster, tried all setting, 0.2 is fastest - custom is still .11...this is crazy its like having to wait a full second before you can type the next letter, even predictive text is slow. Are they pushing voice texts? because I can't deal with this BS.
                    also the notification on texts that group message being converted takes way too long too.

                          JAY, 17 May 2022is it worth it using $100 now to replace my a51 motherboard... moreMine just died too. Im not fixing the motherboard. The cost would be half of getting a new phone and might as well get a new one as there is no guarantee the phone will be reliable to use anymore after changing the motherboard in my opinion. I only had mine for 1.5 years. Such a disappointment

                            is it worth it using $100 now to replace my a51 motherboard? was working well then out of the blue started freeze restarting. changing ic unit did not help. I am quite skeptic if changing the motherboard will help

                              After updating to One UI 4, my Samsung A51 sometimes bugs and glitches and has black marks there. I can't even pull down the notification panel, open any apps, or go to shutdown menu. Then there is a notification saying 'system UI isn't responding' I experienced this issue twice already. Anyone facing the same problem?

                                Started off a decent phone but is susceptible to corruption with rubbish updates from Samsung ( probably meant ) Not having another Samsung again

                                    Jemlim, 07 May 2022It is not the first with punchhole. Well, Nova 5T is First ever phone with punch hole was Samsung Galaxy A8s. The phone were released in December 2018.

                                    Huawei Nova 5T were released in AUGUST 2019.

                                      A51 has so much problems .. like USB charging port, mike from day onward do not sell this phone in the market .. Don't waste hard money of people as well as time. with this kind of fool device. 'loot liya muze'
