To type on the keyboard is awful with the squashed and miniscule on screen keyboard. Im always having to correct typing mistakes because my big fingers on the small keyboard are incompatible.

There is no problem with the 4g on my mi a1 and samsung a8. The 4g on the a51 shows the upload half of the icon blinking but the download side is blank and does not connect unless one reboots the phone with 4g still switched on on the phone. Has happened many times. See the samsung forum a51 4g not working and you will see many complaints in us and eu, so again....no crooks.

I just unpacked it. Packing is so poor, found a very low quality hand-free inside only. Nothing else like glass protector or cover was there. Its performance is as low as my six years old mobile is. Battery charging is good but discharging is also fast. So it will not stand for a complete
day. Software needs update, play store needs update. Width is so short so it looks a bit lengthy. Internet speed is not impressive. I'll suggest don't waste your money on Samsung Galaxy a51. It is not a good mobile.

i have samsung galaxy a8 and it receives regular security updates. This galaxy a51 did not receive any security updates since 3 months.
Its a very bad phone.

Looking up the problem on samsung forums others have same issue with 4g not connecting on the a51 and a71. Maybe it is bad batch of quality defective 4g modem chips they have installed in some galaxy phones.
I have a samsung galaxy a8 and a mi a1 and have never experienced this 4g connection issue with them and even now they connect but the a51 does not connect.

If you are interested in huge batteries M series is the answer (M31, upcoming M51)

The A51 despite being a newer phone and being similarly priced is a massive downgrade in every aspect except looks: Speed, screen quality, camera quality, Bluetooth and wifi connectivity strength, fingerprint speed...I could go on.
It has taught me an experiential lesson. Never replace a flagship device with a mid-ranger no matter how new the mid-ranger is so no. I wouldn't advice you to get it or any other mid-range device for that matter.
