Samsung Galaxy A52 from previous year were with factory Android version 11, A52 from this year are with factory Android version 12.

Resetting the device
If the methods above do not solve your problem, perform a factory data reset.
Launch the Settings app and tap General management → Reset → Factory data reset →
Reset → Delete all. Before performing the factory data reset, remember to make backup
copies of all important data stored in the device.

me007, 03 Dec 2022You may try to reset it to its original factory version 12.... moreIf you just reset it won't downgrade android version. It will stay the same. But reset will fix your issues. Mine was running fine without reset. But I went ahead and did it too. Runs wonderfully.

Just go to Settings -> About phone -> Reset. After that disable automatic software update.

The calling app settings keeps crashing since updated to android 13, even after clearing cache for all apps (includind all system apps) and clearing cache partition! all apps are up-to-date!
NOT planning at all to take the painful route of factory reset!
any alternative suggestions?

Shif1, 01 Dec 2022Please can you tell me step by step. i cannot find Will try. Just power off your phone. While it is still off connect it to any powered on laptop/desktop. When you see that it is charging press and hold power and volume up buttons together. When you see Samsung logo release your fingers. Recovery menu will be opened. Now disconnect your phone from that laptop/desktop. Press the volume down button many times until you reach wipe cache partition. Now press power then volume down then power. When it says complete do the same until you reach the last option repair apps. Press power. Wait until your phone boots up. Let it be idle for 1 minute. Now go to settings and apps. Now enable system apps by clicking the 3 dots in the right side and enabling system apps. Now search for health. Clear data of all health apps which you found. Now go to the main settings page. Click on battery and device care. Click on battery. And more battery settings. Check if adaptive battery is enabled. If not enable it. Now close everything and power off your phone and on again. The battery will get better after some days. It will adapt.

After that go to settings and apps and click show system apps. Now search for health. Clear data of all health apps. Now check if adaptive battery is enabled. If so the battery will adapt again.

My A52 battery is draining quickly. I have even updated new android 13 one ui5 but still same. With mobile data on i can only use upto 4 hours only. Even if i didn't use the phone it drain quickly like 15% in 12 hours.

Android 13 update came with November security patch. But Google play system update downgraded from October patch to July. Not big deal but really strange. Checking for updates gives zero update.
