For the A52 case, the purpose of the lower power chipset which is the 720G is to prolong that (lifespan) instead of offering a way more powerful chipset that would undermine the phone battery. Plus Samsung is offering a 3 years of software updates and 4 years of security updates, therefore this phone is for those who are dedicated for a 4 years smartphone experience maybe more instead of a puny 2 years. Besides that, One Ui is more stable than MiUi in terms of performance and multitasking. Last but not least, for those who are looking for a midrange smartphone are more responsible for their expenses and I would not suggest someone to go for a janky Redmi Note 10 Pro with a limited budget but if you are willing to take risk in going for high specs smartphone in this price point please be my guest.

If you had used Mi4x you will know 5 years back Xiaomi already produced great economical phones vs Samsung pricey low quality phones. I left Samsung since their sluggish lagged performance just after 2 years and very lack support on Tab 7 Plus.
Samsung had pinched their customers with pricey product but low quality and support.. pay much money for their brand name for nothing. their low performance Exynos vs well known-Snapdragon ... now until some Chinese phones came.. they start to reduce some price tag but they cut a lots of hardware and features too like A52. Shame.
Since that I have moved to numbers of brands except Apple because I don't like their iOS. Finally Redmi Note 10 Pro is the best in it class. Very smooth, powerful an beautiful 108MP camera plus esthetical body design vs samsung dull bored oldschool design. Samsung UI also one of the worst. Compared to MIUI 12 version, fresh, lightweight, countless features i.e online great themes.
I will not waste my money to pay for samsung brand name. Nowadays gadget technologies are moving so fast and most of them have their R&D and manufacturing in China. We can't deny that.

If Samsung 2017 Samsung got no lag issue, Im supposed newest Samsung should be better in terms of performance, EXCEPT those phones whose using MTK/Helio. I believe Samsung with budget SD like SD4XX have no lag issue. Unless if using 2GB RAM.

I feel so much better after using this A52 4G, much better than Redmi that have many bugs and unoptimized their 'powerful' chipset. Though in camera terms, I think Note 10 Pro have bit better camera on natural light. While Macro camera, slow mo or super slow mo video quality is biggest disappointment for me from A52 4G, I had no other issue on this phone.

Anonymous, 16 May 2021Because you have it on 90HzIt could be the 90Hz setting yes but also not. It can be a lot of things, you need to check app activity. I run mine on 90Hz and it lasts the whole day with moderate calling and day to day stuff. Runs down quickly on gaming though
