I had Galaxy A20 which is only 4000Mah and I feel that has a better battery lasting compared to the 4500 Mah A52 5G. To confirm the battery drain, when I slept I had 80% and when I woke up in the morning it had only 70%. I checked the battery usage and I found out that always-on display is taking 1 to 1.1 % for battery per hour.

However, still does last for a day though. I have the 5G/NR model and set it a 120Hz always so it must be those (5G and 120Hz) that's causing the faster battery drain despite having a smaller screen than the A71 4G.

Hey there!
Purchased this phone yesterday and this phone is amazing but only one issue I am facing right now. I feel my battery is draining quickly compared to other phones. I am using 60hz. Is anyone else facing this issue?

Uff this phone keeps crashing since i bought it....... it's worse than A32 5G which is also bad .... 8GB ram? Lol i played driving simulator 2020 on medium graphics and its lagging so much..
I like the battery .. it's huge but it drains so fast when i play games... The front camera sucks ... I switched back to my Y7 prime 2019 ...
So many issues with this phone... very bad experience...

The S20 FE 5G has telephoto camera too and 4K 60fps capability. Definitely get the S20 FE 5G over this one if you can afford it. And get the highest storage option (256GB) so you can use dual SIM and not be facing the dilemma of having to choose between having extra storage (micro SD card) and always using second SIM.

Some users (those who frequently scroll fast on their phones) may also notice some improvement in scroll smoothness because it is a higher refresh rate (120Hz phone). Would strongly suggest you save a bit more and get the A52 5G 256GB version over the cheaper A52 5G 4G versions. It's worth the extra asking price and you won't worry about storage (256GB) and compatibility with future 5G bands and connectivity.

A quick search show this:
"The human eye can see at around 60 FPS and potentially a little more.
Some humans believe they can see up to 240 FPS, and some testing has been done to prove this."
So 60fps + can be seen by human eyes.

A well implemented 60fps refresh rate won't be much different than 120fps. The difference is barely noticeable in small phone screens like in the A52 5G unless all you do on your phone is scroll and scroll very fast.

Amazig. Perfect fone. 120fps screen is awsome. But unfortunatly the eye can only see 15 fps. such a wast of mony.
