Power delivery chargers will only output 25W max because that is what the phone requires but the same power delivery chargers will output higher for phones that support it. Quick charge 5 chargers behave the same way and this phone supports both charging protocols but can only take 25W maximum. Chargers rated with lower watt ratings (below 25W) will only provide 18W 'Quick charge' and not the 25W 'super fast charging'. The phone display will show 'charging' if connected to the oldest chargers (rated below 18W), 'fast charging' if connected to 18W Quick charge 2.0/3.0 chargers and 'super fast charging' if connected to 25W Quick charge 4.0/5.0 or PD3.0 chargers.

Humble, 24 Apr 2022A52 5G or A53 5G which should i go for?Honestly both are good options in 2022.
A53 5G will get Android 16, has better battery, and slightly better cameras.
A52 5G will get Android 14, has headphone jack, and cheaper.

Humble, 24 Apr 2022A52 5G or A53 5G which should i go for?i think A53 got no headphone jack i go with A52s 5G or A52 5G (A52 5G snapdragon 750G / A52s snapdragon 778G)
if you want more battery A53 is worth it (5000 mah)

Humble, 24 Apr 2022A52 5G or A53 5G which should i go for?A52 5G if you want a headphone jack and FM radio and would like to use and sideload GCam with Night Sight (Really excellent for very dim lighting and night shots). Otherwise go on with the A53 5G with an Exynos processor.

King, 06 Apr 2022I also can't stand Bixby , never used it or will. The... moreI never use Bixby either and hate that it comes up during button presses. But it's really very easy to turn it off and banish it everywhere (Go to Settings - Advanced Features. Toggle Bixby Routines to OFF).
As for Samsung's built in apps, you can easily opt not to use them and set other apps as default instead. You can't say the same for iPhone bloatware where the only thing you can change as default is the browser and email app. Before iOS 14, you can't even assign any third party app as default at all.

You probably have *very limited* Android experience since the S5 since you can't even cite a specific example what makes this phone worse than the phone you currently own, which I suspect is an iPhone.

My previous phone was a Samsung(S5) and I was very pleased with it. It became outdated and I decided to buy a new one. Bought the Samsung A52g and what a mistake it turned out to be. It's rubbish. Nothing good to say about it , have returned it. Please don't buy this phone.

Following your comment I'm not happy as I got the 6gb 128gb and wasn't informed of the 8gb 256gb or whether it was available.
This particular model- I have a few ideas what the S stands for. For instance, if you block a person, you don't have a spam file for sms like my previous model - a basic A20e- yes had it for a long time till the charging port screwed up.
So alternatively I tried to set a particular number to divert their incoming calls straight to voicemail. There isn't an option for this.
And I absolutely hate this Bixby thing.

Excellent phone for anyone looking for a midrange king.Totally worth it if you are buying it at good offer.There is no competition in this price range for A52s 5G.Amoled Display,120Hz,8 GB and 128GB Storage,4500 mAh Battery,One UI 4.1 and Android 12 and runs on SnapDragon 750g.This is a really good product from Samsung!!

Was moments away from returning the cell because of all the negative reports of the finger print scanner and screen protectors. Thought I would try one of the protectors from my wifes phone, and low and behold, the scanner works UNDER the screen protector. Protector is a little small for this phone about 3mm short on top and bottom. So will be getting the correct protector down the road. Sorry, but there is no brand name on this protector, it was a spare we bought 8 years ago from a China site. Not happy with Samsungs "Regional Locks" and exclusion of some apps (like ability to record phone calls) without a third party app.
