not sure why they don't care to add that info here. Not to mention this has a Li-ion battery, not a Li-Po

I found that the proximity sensor only activates when the display is touched. On my A51, it activated normally like any other proximity sensor would. WTF

Anonymous, 09 Jan 2022Battery life and performance on december update? Anyone?My phone seems to be more consistent when it comes to battery consumption. Before the phone would sometimes use 3% per hour over night. Now it drains 0,5% per hour over night and 1% average for entire day.
So the battery life is more consistent and reliable but I'm not sure it's due to december update because I think it may have started before.
Performance on my phone is as snappy as before.

I wonder if it's ju... moreThe screen uses pulse width modulation (PWM) and it's noticable when rolling your eyes really fast or when shaking the phone if the screen is in low brightness. However to me it doesn't look anny better or worse than other phones I had.

So happy with this phone overall no problems whatsoever just disappointed that it does not have Director's View in camera like with S21 series with the same One UI 3.1 and I hope they will add it someday maybe with One UI 4.0 along with HDR10+

Anonymous, 09 Jan 2022I brought this phone 16 days ago. I have facing screen flic... moreI see screen flickering sometimes. I wonder if it's just some people are sensitive to the PWM (relatively low 230 Hz flickering on this model)? I am sensitive to flashing lights in other contexts.
The PWM is definitely visible when looking at white text on a black background with a low brightness setting (in the dark). I see multiple images of the text as I move my eyes around.
I'm also getting some nausea when using it. I hope I don't need to get a different phone :-(

No flickering at all, I get 8 hours of SOT with youtube, insta and other social media apps with 120Hz enabled all the time (except for youtube, I made a bixby routine to turn the refresh rate to 60Hz once I enter youtube). This phone is amazing, you probably got a faulty phone or something.

I brought this phone 16 days ago. I have facing screen flickering issue. It just annoying me that a new phone has display problem. Extremely disappointed and also battery drains fast. 5 6 hours SOT with YouTube and playing 1 hour pes.

i bought samsung a52s 5g from 31st oct 2021 but i got defected device even samsung service centre said that hardware issue but when samsung supervisor asked to service centre then service centre said that mobile is well but samsung service centre has written camera failed issue in jobsheet and said that this is harware issue after software update even samsung higher authority and samsung customer care supervisors even samsung official store misbehaves me when i said for replacement/refund . i recommended to all buyers don't buy samsung mobile .
