I have been using this phone since I bought it a little over 2 years ago. No issues whatsoever. I don't play games anymore, not since I got this phone, so I can't comment on that kind of performance. Got a case with camera protection, as well as a screen protector on. I am planning for it to last me years to come.

GSMarena why did you delete my opinion about the query related to security issues of exynos chip in A53 5G? Because of Samsung's sponsorship? It's a potentially dangerous thing.
I have that device and I'm afraid to use it because of that problem

An okay phone with some issues. phone would nog register touches/mistouches just after a year. A quick restart helped.
Same problem came up few days back, again fixed with a restart. I hope it's not related to motherboard. Thinking of ditching Samsung if I keep getting these problems but the Chinese alternatives are riddled with ads.
Plus cost performance ratio is nowhere near good.

Android 15 will be the last OS update for the Samsung Galaxy A53, and after that it only has 1 year of security patches left.

It's been 2 years having this phone and everything is running great. The processor isn't powerful, Camera is decent, Speakers are great and display is awesome. Can't wait for Android 15 & 16

I main this phone for round about 2 years now and i like it obvisly the processor isnt insane just average and the photos are mid-decent but the Display and battery is the best Part even after 2 years of active daily use i get around
12-13,5 hours of active use.If you want a decent phone with good battery and dont care about processing that much aka dont play high end games this Thing is great.One final Thing the a53 has amazing protection it dropped so offen from around 2-3meters and no damge at all.

You get wifi 6, ufs 3.1, upgraded cameras, display nits, better sound quality and most importantly faster cpu and upto android 18 vs 16 on a53
