If not, there's something seriously wrong with the phone unless you have data turned on overnight or if you download stuff.

Roblox developers basically hate android and the games optimization are trash:
An iPhone 7 can play some of Roblox games at higher FPS, graphics settings and resolution than a S23 Ultra!!!
Or for example there are a lot of games in Roblox that are simple with almost zero graphical demand and should run in any potato phone but they run worse than for example PUBG Mobile in a S23 Ultra just because lack of optimization

Bought this device a around a week ago. Overnight battery drains roughly 20% 15%. Adaptive battery option is on. wifi bluetooth mobile data was turned off. i believe it's because device is learning my usage patterns or something. am i right or is this an issue ?

I just tried playing 4k after a long time, it's almost smooth. But I'm not able to get a continous playback as I'm on cellular data so anyone with wifi can just check it?

Does this mean that if companies optimizes 1280 to the fullest, does it mean that it can surpass SD 8th gen 2? (hypothetical) even if it's for a short while?
Honestly, I'll take any kind of optimization as long as the phone could last me 5 years. And get some decent gameplay without any lags/glitch.

Optimization plays a big role, for example in COD Mobile a Snapdragon 720G phone can play with higher graphics settings and FPS than a Dimensity 1080 phone despite being the Snapdragon 720G worse in absolute everything.
That’s basically what happened, the Exynos 1280 wasn’t optimized since it was new, now it’s better.

Looks credible the test since the Dimensity 1080 of the Realme 10 Pro Plus is just a rebranded and slightly overclocked Dimensity 900 which is basically identical to the Exynos 1280 of the A53 but made in TSMC instead of Samsung Foundries that's why both have similar perfomance

Guys I just re-downloaded Genshin Impact after after a year to test again this phone after a year, I tested along with a couple of reconditioned flagships (but in perfect conditions) and Galaxy A52 5G and a Realme 10 Pro+ as midrange representatives
Tested using GameBench and all phones at 80% battery:

-Galaxy A53 5G: Average 40 FPS: 57 FPS Highest, 15 FPS Lowest, 73% Stability, up to 41.9ºC
-Galaxy S21+ (Exynos): Average 55 FPS: 60FPS Highest, 24 FPS Lowest, 79% Stability, up to 43.2ºC
-Pixel 7 Pro: Average 53 FPS: 60FPS Highest, 19 FPS Lowest, 84% Stability, up to 45.2ºC
-Xiaomi Mi11T: Average 49 FPS: 60FPS Highest, 28 FPS Lowest, 61% Stability, up to 42.2ºC
-Motorola Edge 30 Fusion: Average 58 FPS: 60 FPS Highest, 43 FPS Lowest, 80% Stability, up to 44.0ºC
-Oppo Reno 8 Pro: Average 55 FPS: 60 Highest, 42 FPS Lowest, 95% Stability, up to 40.5ºC

-Motorola Edge 30 Fusion: Average 35 FPS: 59 FPS Highest, 20 FPS Lowest, 67% Stability, up to 44.3ºC
-Oppo Reno 8 Pro: Average 38 FPS: 60 Highest, 25 FPS Lowest, 87% Stability, up to 42.7ºC
-Galaxy A52 5G: Average 19 FPS: 34 FPS Highest, 6 FPS Lowest, 63% Stability, up to 46.0ºC
-Realme 10 Pro+: Average 29 FPS: 47 FPS Highest, 12 FPS Lowest, 73% Stability, up to 42.8ºC
Based on the results, the Oppo Reno 8 Pro was the most efficient of all with the best thermals and stability while getting good FPS on both tests. The Galaxy A52 5G was the most inefficient with bad thermals, average stability and the worst FPS.
The Galaxy A53 5G improved massively considering that at launch Genshin Impact was running at an unplayable ~10 FPS at Highest Setting,

I get about 6 hours ... moreNot really, SOT is different for each person because it depends of which apps are you using, signal strength (this plays a big role in the battery) and standby time so you can’t compare SOT with other people unless you use similar or same apps, signal strength.
Anyways, 6 hours with still 30% battery remaining (At 120hz all day, and charging capped at 85%) is pretty good and A54 battery is similar to A53.
