Now that flagships have all equal bezels on all 4 sides, midrangers should have 2 equal bezel which is top and bottom.

zy, 15 Mar 2022i own the a52 5g and feel that i may keep my phone for up t... moreI also have a type C to 3.5mm adapter for my Samsung tab S5e which doesn't have a headphone jack. My experience has been it's really a stupid solution to a problem that could have been avoided if the device were equipped with a 3.5mm jack.
The adapter is small, and like the totally wireless bluetooth earbuds, are easily misplaced, dropped, trampled upon, or lost forever. And the type C to 3.5mm adapter interferes with wired screen mirroring which is the only way to project downloaded DRM encoded Google Play movies from my tab S5e screen to any TV, even non-smart TVs (as long as they have HDMI input).
And worse, everytime I need to immediately answer to a video call in private, I cannot find that type C to 3.5mm adapter I dropped or left somewhere and the stupid Bluetooth earbuds I forgot to charge cannot be used at all, making everyone hear the entire 2-way conversation.
Bluetooth earbuds - they're as unready and unreliable as they can be and are never always ready for many unexpected situations.
Bluetooth earbuds/headphones have their uses, sure, but I've decided never to buy them again for their utter unreliability, chronic unreadiness and disposable nature (even how expensive they may be). I actually bought a cheap, small bluetooth transmitter/receiver with (3.5mm jack audio out) with much better battery performance than any bluetooth earbuds in existence for the few times I can't keep my phone close to me (a very rare occasion). That way, I just dispose off the cheap bluetooth receiver if it dies after a few years (the bigger battery makes it last longer than premium bluetooth earbuds that get disposed the same.

I really just saw this A53 5G in my country, on a webpage for sale. Just for curiosity I asked them the price, let see what they say. It's really weird that Samsung did not make any big announcement like last years A52 and A72, Thats weird right? They are quietly releasing this device in different countries I think the first place I saw this was released was in Vietnam!

Samsung has been going the route of apple - just the phone and cable and nothing else. These companies have zero shame. during the pandemic they continued making record breaking cash, and got worse in what they provide in the box. the A52 since getting updated to android 12 has way too many glitches.

I too heavily disappointed with lack of 3.5mm audio jack and not really interested in Bluetooth headset either and I agree on your points fully.

Andrija, 11 Mar 2022Why you need that? Who use 3.5 mm? Why people keep sayin thatI've had two pairs of Bluetooth earbuds I bought two years and three years ago respectively. Their batteries have become either swollen and/or depreciated in capacity, so they can no longer be used for more than 2 hrs. without needing a recharge. And worse, their plastic and rubber parts have become brittle and crumbly with age and with repeated exposure to sweat. Long story short, both were thrown in the trash bin a month ago while my cheap 10 year old wired earbuds are still as reliable and as comfortable as they were since day 1.
Moral Lessons from my bluetooth earbuds ownership:
1. Bluetooth earbuds are an expensive, annually (every year) or biennially (every 2 years) disposable garbage. They are not environment friendly.
2. Wired earbuds/headphones cost less, sound better, do not need charging, and last 10 years or more.
3. Extended use selfie sticks that don't need charging or don't require any batteries, make use of the 3.5mm jack to activate the phone's camera shutter which you can't use if your phone doesn't have one. You'll have to waste money on a disposable selfie stick with Bluetooth support that dies with the battery.
4. Your phone with 3.5mm jack can be connected to PC speakers to play FM radio or mp3 music on the speakers for as long as you like because you can charge your phone while it's playing through your PC speakers at the same time.
5. Bluetooth exposure is non-ionizing radiation but it still never is a good idea to stick two of them to your ears and close to your brain 4-8hrs a day, 7 days a week.
6. Never buy a phone without a 3.5mm headphone jack ever again. You may think you'll never need a phone jack ever, but like your emergency light or emergency exit, you may need it when you least expect it.

This is a serious downgrade from its predecessors: The A52 5G and the A52s 5G. The screen size is smaller, the processor is now an Exynos, and there's no headphone jack when it's supposed to be standard in midrange devices. The only thing better is the higher battery capacity but given that Exynos processors throttle a lot and not as battery efficient aa their snapdragon counterparts, the bigger battery benefit may not be felt at all, so all in all, a downgrade in user experience. Not buying this at all.

Andrija, 11 Mar 2022Why you need that? Who use 3.5 mm? Why people keep sayin thatI use 3.5mm because you can get wired earbuds/headphones at a quarter of the price while sounding better and lasting longer. Plus, I don't need to charge them.
