Anyone experiencing some battery drain issue while the display is off?
overnight while wifi and everything is off , it went around 20% down (for about a week and after the update as well)

Shostak39, 16 Jun 2023I just purched mine and i really love the phone especialy... moreIf your phone is new then it's normal because the phone is adapting to your uses, it can take 2 weeks to a month, but if it's not new then it has a problem (maybe an app draining battery in background) because most people say that this phone has a good battery

AnonD-1068472, 16 Jun 2023When I first bought the phone, all I heard was bad reviews ... moreI don't think it would happen because android update are smaller than before and even 1 year later, the a53 not only didn't slow down, the phone now run much better because Samsung optimized it a lot (just check the initial review of this phone were the people said that was laggy, now 1 year later it isn't laggy anymore and you can search about a53 1 year later in youtube if you don't trust me

I just purched mine and i really love the phone especialy after the new update.
All the good features of Samsung i like and more and i don't need a flagship phone.
Thogh the baterry drains quickly this is the only shortcoming of this phone.

When I first bought the phone, all I heard was bad reviews but most of them had one thing in common. They had the opinion that they future updates would break the phone. Now, honestly looking at how the last few android updates were and the new Android 14 is, I think it's safe to say that they won't 'Break' the phone. Would just bring new features. The only thing I'm worried about is how well they're gonna optimize it for this device.
I guess we'll know during the beta release around September

Plus stainless camera protector (silver). It feels different from other A53 users plus it can protect the back of your phone from scratches:)

ManDeepest, 09 Jun 2023I'm thinking to get this one over the new A24.If you can find it at similar price to a24 then get it, a53 is better in pretty much everything except probably battery life (a24 90hz vs a53 120hz) and one more year of updates

anon, 06 Jun 2023Is it better the a53 or a34 (same price)?I'd like to add that there's negligible heating when you are doing day to day activities on A54, cus of the chip. Plus thinner bezels. A34 seems to be more polished so I'd say go for it unless
camera is important to you then A53 or 54 is the way...

Great phone! Not a flagship but it feels like one. Battery lasts 2 to 3 days if used sparingly!
