According to Notebookcheck.net's tests, The A52's Snapdragon 778G 5G processor score is 35% higher in Geekbench 5.4 Multi-core than this A53's Exynos 1280 (Snapdragon Score = 2849 vs Exynos Score = 1878). The Single-core scores are almost the same (785 vs 737). So, for apps and processes that use multi-cores, the A52 5G will perform significantly better. From activating fingerprint scanner, to starting apps. Even when you tap on weather report widget it takes a second for it to react. GF has A52 which had Qualcomm CPU, rest is basically the same, and it's snappy. Same actions react instantly. Samsung needs to really step up their CPUs, or switch to someone who knows what they're doing instead of selling devices like these.

All ok but very very slow... Its working very slow... RAM ok, Display ok , battery ok, Camera ok, but cpu its so slow. In one word.. lag input!

A phenomenal device. I using right device is fast, good camera, great battery, amazing screen, 4+5 year update and outstanding stereo speakers.

Labib, 10 Feb 2023Should I update all the upcoming software updation I mean ... moreInstall all updates. Then go to recovery menu and wipe cache partition then repair apps. Not that critical but you can do it for better optimization.

is it just my phone but has done it twice now no signal until i insert the sim card into another phone then it works then insert it back into the A53 then it works again

Check the benchmarks yourself lol, the a52's sc 778G is directly an upgrade from the exynos 1280

After using this phone almost a year, it's not that bad and it looks like I'll still use this phone for now. The only problem that i experienced from the battery which was quite wasteful for 5000 mah capacity.

Anonymous, 28 Jan 2023Go for Chinese phones if you don't mind their software... moreI have my friend getting Nothing Phone 1. Performance and camera is acceptable for premium mid range. But there is downside: you won't get 5G on any of 5G SIM cards available in Malaysia market yet but need to wait some software update from Nothing side to get 5G working in Malaysia.
If you really want 5G working in Malaysia, get Galaxy A53 or any Android phones (mostly Samsung, OPPO, Vivo, OnePlus, Poco, Xiaomi, Redmi, Realme will work 5G in Malaysia) and iPhones.
