As for software updates, Android 12 is the first version of Android that I outright hate and don't want to upgrade to. Besides, I can just sideload my own version of Android onto it.
If you buy this phone instead of the A52s, you will get:
+ More software support.
+ 500mAh more battery
+ BT 5.1 compared to 5.0 (although the SD 778 is suppose to support BT 5.2, so what gives?)
- No Wifi-6 support
- No 60fps @1080p video recording support (although you could probably still get it with a Gcam build. I can get 60fps @1080p on my Galaxy A51 with the use of a custom Gcam build and even 4K @60fps with stuttering though.
- Less included items such as a charging brick and case in the box.
- A slower Exynos chipset with slower cores across the board and despite the claim of a smaller nm, it is fabbed by Samsung instead of TSMC, which makes more of a difference than just 1nm imo. You also have fewer performance cores, and a Mali GPU which is terrible for emulation and games are typically optimized for Adreno (Snapdragon).
- No headphone jack
- Doesn't come with Android 11, which is better (my personal preference)

778g is better, more efficient and there's headphone jack, why not just buy A52s then? Bigger battery with inefficient chip made by Samsung isn't worth at all

I wouldn't buy samsung after experiencing Exynos S20FE battery life, Samsungs preinstalled bloatware and spyware.
I don't see much reasons to choose this phone over competition either. No jack, medium battery life,no OIS or wireless charging.
