In my area the price difference between the A53 and A52S is $19.
I chose the A53, I should've chosen the A52S, but no regrets. It's doing well so far. I don't really game on my phone. I feels fast and snappy. I just wish they used an Ultrasonic Fingerprint reader. The optical ones tend to fail a lot if you're fingers are dry and slightly dirty/dusty, also it's positioned too low. They should've positioned it 1 1/2 inches from the bottom edge.
I ugpraded coming from a POCO M3, so it really feels like an upgrade to me.

-let's keep in mind that in some regions a52s is almost half the price of a53
-both phones have the same camera hardware(except a53 ha 1/1.7x instead of 1/1.7 sensor in a52s on the main camera). They both have almost the same software so photos and videos are gonna have a minor difference unless u really care about photos.
-u say u don't do gaming so what are u gonna do with 14gb ram instead of 12 gb (if 8 wasn't enough). vram is becoming more of a gimmick.
Games are more optimized for snapdragon than exynos. 778g has almost 40% more antutu score than exynos 1280.

-yes I admit battery is strong Point of a53 but A52 has a 113 H rating on gsmarena and that's good enough die the price.
-considering how Samsung handled the android 12 update for a52s ull probably be completed to change a samsung midrange device in 3 years top
-even if a52s no of updates are finished but u will atleast get 2 years of custom Roms due to it having a snapdragon chip. Developers don't usually make long term Roms for exynos.(midrange devices)
-a52s has 3.5mm jack. (I am not gonna carry a dongle with myself). I can get a $12 earphone with excellent quality that would have to be rivaled by a $200-300 wireless buds(in my country from a respectable brand). Not to mentions the battery degradation of the buds.
-not major but a52s has better GPS due to qzss for ppl in Asia.

And if we did, it better be around the same price and truly beat A52s. But will it though? No AUX and no SD won't change I bet.
