Let's not talk about the charger or jack thing now.. It won't change so it's time to just get use to it.

This new chip.. is it really that bad? I kinda like the A53 but I don't know anything about chips.

Saw people had problems with the A52s and it has a Snapdragon chip in it so I'm clueless.

    Aa, 19 Mar 2022No 3.5km jack :-(Yah it was one of the main reasons people bought the A series. I'd rather buy a Redmi Note 11 even if it had no AUX just for the price at this point.

      In my opinion Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G is the best Samsung A series phone even after A53 5G released. The only difference about is battery capacity on the both device, 4500 mAh (A52/A52s) and 5000 mAh (A53). A53's System on Chip equipped with Exynos 1280, which is a huge downgrade from the chipset alone. Although the A53 can record a video quality up to 4k. So my point here is, if you already own Samsung A52/A52s, it's still the best phone compare to A53, not worthy to upgrade. Besides, A52s is a balanced smartphone when it comes for either both daily use and gaming. Regardless, I'll personally rate 7/10 for A53.

Genuine charger costs €8 if you already don't have one which most people do. You can also buy a non-branded cheaper charger if €8 is too much. And they ship the A53 with free Buds Live if you pre-order which compensates for the missing 3.5mm jack. The iPhone SE which you mention will deplete its battery 70% faster than A53 so it's a no go for a lot of people. Oh and you won't get the 3.5mm jack with an iPhone either.

                    I would never use a Samsung phone again in future. A premium price tag, software full of bloatware. My current Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G reboot itself to permanent flight mode after updated system to latest version Feb 2022.

                      Played with it yesterday in a store here in Thailand, strangely enough it felt pretty quick. The phone was handed to me straight out of the box, so i switched it on and skipped all the setup questions till i was at the start screen with the apps. It was still setting itself up while i ran youtube, made some pictures and fiddled with the web browser.

                      The screen was smooth, youtube scrolled quickly and played without hiccups, google now was smooth, the camera made pictures quickly. All in all for everyday tasks this seems like enough power. By the way, this was the 8/128 model.

                      In local preorder you can get the A53 with a free memory upgrade to 8/256, one year Samsung care+ and a free case for 13499 THB. That's about 365 Euro inclusive local tax. The A52S is around 12000 online for the 8/128 and that's 325 Euro.

                          Why don't they want to talk about the processor, which is one of the most important things in the phone, it's the heart of the phone, it seems so shameful that they are ashamed to talk about it, maybe it's from Unisoc

                              The 256gb galaxy a53 in my country is about 6.5 million rupiahs with a lot of gimmicks such as buds live etc which they said it was 5,3 million worths, maybe because of 3 million worths of Skin for a game, but I would say it was 1.5 million worths for the samsung care + and buds live.
                              anyway, 128gb iphone se 2020 is at a price of 7.8 million dollars, therefore the price difference is now 1.3 million (~100 USD), for that capacity I think its not worth it for taking the iphone SE. Remember that is for 2020 iphone SE which has been down in price for such a long term device.
                              Even if the gimmicks offer doesnt exist, the galaxy a53 is still more worth it, or even more worthy if the price also goes down.
                              However, I still recommend buying the A52S 5g model for it has a significantly powerful chipset, and almost identical in other segments, that still sold at a lower price.
                              So Idk A53 is a very nice upgrade for A52 but not quite an upgrade from A52s, and also, DONT BUY THE SE IN INDONESIA, its a scam

                                        A53 has under display fingerprint scanner and not side mounted as you specify in specs.
