Samsung is the father of amoled displays and you compare this infant to the father of displays?
And last but not least xiaomi's software is trash i have used xiaomi and the updates completely ruin the experience Samsung on the other hand improves or does nothing to the phone through updates
Oneplus is known for green lines and do not have better cameras the only phone that has similar or better camera than a54 is pixel motorola is an unreliable brand they give short term updates
If you want to talk about software no phone is better than samsung in this price range

This is a very good phone. Make sure you get the eSim version if you need that functionality.

Have owned the Samsung A54 for close to 12 months. Internet service disconnects for no reason and have to reboot phone multiple times a day. People have problems hearing me during a phone call. Microphone related? Have completed all updates. Would not recommend this model of Samsung phone. Have previously used an iPhone 12 pro and had no issues.

If you want a 2023 midranger that is the best package overall, it's the Motorola Edge 40 and/or the OnePlus Nord 3.
There's nothing about the A54 that punches above the weight of the midrange market. Performance is midrange, the screen is midrage (or even worse), the cameras are upper-midrange, the charging is midrange, the build is midrange etc.

I can get 9+ hours sot with 12 hours standby without gaming
7.5hours+ sot with gaming for 1.5-2 hours gaming with 10-12 hpurs standby

I used Nokia, then Microsoft, then Samsung, and after several years of using Samsung phones I was convinced of one conviction, which was that I should not buy any Samsung phone that had a processor produced by them inside. This is my belief after years of using Samsung phones

1.The other guy might have bough low ram version(that would also possibly cause fps drop or even crashes in some cases, some games and apps in background take more ram than other apps too)
2.despite of being midrange, this phone is pretty capable,(why would I expect from flagship performance on Midranges in first place lol🤣)
And I only stated my experiences with my recent bough a54(expecially gaming, Im satisfied with it tho), I didnt eve compalined lol

P.s. shouldnt expect too much on Midrange phones in first place but I can say this phone is also pretty capable on gaming too
(can manage Genshin impact on medium~ high graphics on 30~45 fps most times(with some heating ofcourse), my usual setting is Medium graphic 30 fps and everything else low or turned off, only around 39~40 Celsius most times, thats enough for me though)
