But I guess you get what you pay for. A cheaper phone has more inconveniences, disappointments and frustrations. It's just a matter of seeing if the compromise is worth it for you.

                Got this phone for 270€ unlocked on sale, can compare it to an A52s:
                Main camera has almost the same color accuracy, which is pretty bad on both, but A54 has less noise, and the clarity when zooming in is a bit better too. If you don't compare the colours of the photos with real life, they actually look really good, it's just that they re a bit unrealistic. Wide camera is copy paste, and selfie camera on A54 is better by a tiny bit, but they are both terrible anyway.
                CPU wise, can't tell a difference. GPU is a different story, had to go 1 setting lower in most games on the A54 for the same performance. The A54 also tends to get warmer, but not hot tother point that it burns, like the S5 did back in the day.
                Screen looks the same indoors, outdoors the difference is rather noticeable in favor of the A54.
                The battery life on the A54 is very similar to what the A52s had when it was new.
                Haptic feedback on the A54 is so much better, while the speakers are absolutely the same.
                The biggest difference is in build quality; the A52s I had rattled, squeaked, and made all sorts of noises. The back cover on it moves if you push it, the chrome sides can be moved in place by a mm if you push it, the 3 camera lenses aren't parallel, and honestly the plastic used for it feels like a toilet seat. A54 fixes every single one of those issues, and feels and looks so much better.

                Tldr: A52s better GPU, A54 either tied or better everywhere else.

                    I just bought one last night. First impressions are kind of mixed - super fast charging with the proper charger, smooth experience, no problem with the wi-fi or the bluetooth... BUT the back of the device (especially the upper part) started warming up and that worries me a lot. Any advice? I read somewhere that it will stop warming up and is that so?

                      AutoFocus, 29 May 2023I didn't said Apple does not in fact every manufacture... moreWell, is this case depends, there can be a possibility that manufacturers after some time release updates to make the devices, unstable, buggy or slow, but isn't in the most cases, some people face issues when they buy their phones new, and then an update came to solve that issues, like heating, stuttering, camera focus, software bugs, and other updates that make device worse, slow, stuttering, battery draining faster.
                      It depends by many factos, such as the device age, range of the product (low-end, mid-range, high-end) and the care that the user have took of the device.

                        I would recommend updating these specs, eSIM is not supported in every model of this phone I have tried.

                          no faster charging 45 watts.

When people continuously faced with broken, bugged updates ruining their experience they eventually buy a new phone. Perhaps this is what the manufactures wanted.

There after they start releasing broken, bugged updates ruining the whole experience. Whether this is part of their planned obsolescence or negligence is debatable. Buying decision solely based on Samsung advertised software support would be foolish.
