I bought A54 2 days ago.
Downloaded and installed the latest Software Update.
Very much satisfied with it. Battery life is excellent. A light user might get 3 days backup on just calls and msgs. Performance in UI is good, not the best but using social media or running through ui is good. FYI, this phone is not for gaming, so if you want to buy a phone for games then look elsewhere. Photos are decent in good lighting. Videos are good too if lighting is good but does struggles in low light. Speakers are solid, media consumption is excellent, the display is perfect for watching watching videos, youtube etc. IP67 is cherry on top, because I sweat a lot.
So if you are looking for a device with great battery life, smooth social media scrolling, decent photos, and multimedia then A54 is best for you.
I bought this with $370.
Thanks for reading. Peace

If I'm using an eSIM for one number and I have a physical SIM card for another, which slot (SIM 1 or SIM 2) do I insert the physical SIM card into on the Samsung Galaxy A54?

Hello team,
I have a question regarding the Samsung Galaxy A54 smartphone. I've noticed that the LTE 4G signal is weaker on SIM 2 compared to SIM 1. SIM 1 and SIM 2 have different operators, and it's not surprising that SIM 1, usually having a better network, shows a stronger signal. The problem lies in the fact that I previously had the Samsung Galaxy A52S, and in the same location, it showed a signal strength of -96 dBm and 42 asu, while the A54 shows -106 dBm and 36 asu, one bar less than the A52S. So, it's the same SIM card (which is essentially new, received it about 30 days ago), and I've had the A54 for about 15 days now.
To sum up, the phone is new, the SIM card is new, the phone works perfectly fine (except for the issue with Bluetooth disconnection in the car, which is likely due to the car's 2012 Bluetooth system being only for hands-free calls), there are no damages (it's a new phone, there's nothing to discuss in that regard). I'm just curious about this LTE signal strength issue.
Now, I don't know if there's a possibility that the algorithm displaying LTE signal strength is more accurate on the A54, showing a more precise strength compared to the A52S. Is it possible that there's a firmware bug that could be fixed in the future? Could it be that the A54 has a different manufacturer for the LTE modem compared to the A52S, resulting in different signal strengths and so on? I don't know any of this, so I thought I'd ask here if there's anyone with a "deeper" understanding of the architecture and hardware of the A54? Official specification lists don't provide this information, and since my phone is new, I would really like to solve this "mystery."
Regarding other differences between these two phones related to this issue:
On the A54, both SIM cards can connect to 5G, while on the A52S, only the SIM card with mobile data enabled could do so.
The A54 uses the Exynos SoC, while the A52S uses the Snapdragon SoC.
Could anyone know what the issue might be?
Thank you very much :)

I would like some help in Phone Recommendation
At the moment, I'm thinking of buying either A54($400) or A73($470) or S21 FE 5G($510). The phone should be good overall, can last for 3-5 years, and it should be able to last long for medium amount of gaming or high amount of social media.
I'm also open for phones reccommendation for $300 with the specifications being the phone should be good overall, can last for 3-5 years, and it should be able to last long for high amount of social media. (Preferably Samsung, Xiaomi, Vivo).
Can anyone please help me in recommending the best phone for these specifications. Your opinion will be appreciated. Thank you
