SammyBoy, 05 Apr 2023Coming from S10 regular to A54. The much more expensive... moreThis is why i like the A54 it will be good for the next 4 years. Who needs an expensive phone for gaming when this is already decent for gaming, it also has a camera similar to iphone 14 but the iphone 14 has bettter colour corection. I hate the people thath say it's a downgrade. Did you know thath samsung does performance tests to see if phones are fast, they woulden't put in the exyenos for no reason. If they went for the newer snapdragon 782G 5g it would be to big performance jump and zhe phone would be more expensive. The A series was never meant to be a phone with strong processors it was always far far far behinde the S series. And thaths why we didin't get the snapdragon 782G 5g

Coming from S10 regular to A54.
The much more expensive sibling of the A54, the S23+ doesn't have enough storage space available. I can simply put a 1tb sd card in the A54 and be good 👍 Also, the A54 and S23+ are identical in size, weight, profile, etc. Very hard to tell the difference when looking at them externally.
To me, it's not worth at extra $700 USD to upgrade from a A54 to S23+. For the people who game or are extreme users, perhaps it's worth the extra change. For everyday users, 8gb Ram/256gb internal storage with 1tb option to expand is wonderful (international). In USA/Canada A54 is only 6gb/128gb internal.
NFC is a must and A54 has that. Screen is really good. Processor works great for multi tasking. Value is excellent 👌
The deal breaker for the S series is no SD card. That is just dumb. They want you to use the cloud for storage 😂
After checking Geekbench, my S10 is 30% slower than the new A54. My S10 is international using Exynos not Snapdragon. So A54 is an upgrade! Also S10 has a 3400 mAh battery which sucks. 5000 mAh another win. A54 batt life beats the S23+ also!
Who needs a super fast processor and the best camera? The A54 is fine for a majority of people. It will last at least 5 yrs. By then, the S series should come standard with 512gb storage. Right now they're at 256gb. For that much cash, i should not have to pay extra for storage. It's all about ripping people off with the S series.
A54 is a good compromise and flagship killer!

There's a reason why Qualcomm chips are favored by phone companies and Mediatek for those in the budget segment/"flagship killer" category. Even Samsung, the guy's beloved Exynos parent company, uses both of those brands.

Exynos 2400... moreQuote: "Exynos 2400 still could power the S24 in some markets."
The chances are bleak. Well, literally everyone except you hates Exynos and wish Snapdragon instead, spending some time in Google helps you. Many still buy Exynos not because they love it but they prefer Samsung and their OneUI.

Btw in gaming performance, that people plays, Snapdragons can be seen wiping the floor Exynos left, right and center 😄"
PC don't struggle with it if is properly implemented ans optimized.
In gaming performance Exynos wiped Qualcomm chipsets 😁
