For £450 this A54 is born under-powered and overpriced phone. There are much better options in this price bracket with latest Snapdragon 7 and Dimensity series to choose from.

Exynos 1380 had to compete with 2023 Snapdragons and Dimensity to be called as successful which unfortunately it fails to do.

778G has an AI engine with 12 TOPS of performance. 1380's AI engine can only do 4.9 TOPS.
That's less than halfof the 778G!

We love Exynos so much!!!
The Exynos 1380 isn't bad, equal to the 778g, if you want a flagship processor for a good price go for the S20FE/S21FE.

Equal performance compared to a 2 year old Snapdragon 778G and still behind in GPU performance and efficiency 🤣

Isn't behind in GPU if its properly optimized, and in efficiency isn't behind, has the advantage of the 5 nanometre process fabrication.
The Qualcomm 7 gen 2 isn't a big upgrade over the Qualcomm 778G, and this year Exynos is evolving for good in the mid-range segment.

Samsung will do the same to people as it has done many times! Although Samsung has features such as a good user interface, if you want that good user interface, you should buy an Exynos!

Also, Samsung said A74 is no more. A54 is the highest in mid range they'll go.

Xiaomi is very bad; the Android skin MIUI has ads, a lot of bloatware and is rigged with bugs. Not to mention, support is almost non existent. Devices in China are good, but what EU and rest of the world gets is disaster. I have to say, I personally considered to buy Xiaomi; my brother bought it and it says it's terrible.
It was between this and Poco X5 Pro. I'm going with Galaxy A54.

Of You want guaranteed Android updates choose a54, because the Samsung has support until Android 16/17.
Xiaomi has updates until Android 14/15, but is superior in cpu, display, possibly in cameras too, You decide! Good luck in Your Buy!!

i ve been having this phone since last friday, and i can say that i realy like it. i don t do crazy stuff on it, i love samsung s one ui system and i ve been having samsung phones in the past 6 7 years. it has a nice design, it is very likeable in my opinion, it does look classy and the bezels don t bother me at all. i have it in white. the screen is very bright and "fresh". i m coming from a50, so it is a big upgrade for me. i want to keep this phone for at least 2 years. i think the processor needs a little bit of optimization, but for everyday usage this enough. even my a50 did well in all tasks, and it is a 4 year old phone. my opinion might be biased because i ve only had samsung devices, but it is the safest pick you can go for. xoxo peace

I was going to buy the new Galaxy A54 series this year! But it completely disappointed me !
The screen margin is very large.
The processor was the worst possible choice for this mid-range.
I expected SD7 Gen1 at least.
I am migrating from Samsung to Xiaomi for the first time.
