I have a 2018 oneplus 6 and I can see technically a54 is not better in any regard besides security updates available.

Both are wifi ax, usb 2, 8GB, 256GB. No progress in any regard. After 5 years...! My oneplus is still very quick but I confess - I do not play games.

The A54 will be one of the few mid-rang phones to have good support, the One plus 6 was a flagship, compare it to the S21/S21/S23 and you'll notice differences-

    the support and battery will be better.
    I suggest go for an old Samsung flagship like the S10/Note 10, are better maybe except in battery, but overall better in the other aspects.

      lamo, this Exynos is comparable to the 778G/778G+.
      Isn't junk.
      Second Exynos in the high-end is excellent.

I also want a OS that doesn't have issues, i used A52s for almost a year and i never had any issue (except poor vibration motor which was a reason why i went back to Xiaomi, regretting that). I just want a smooth/no issues OS. I also forgot to tell that i don't play heavy games/overall any game on a phone so i feel like A54 may be a perfect device for me.
            Also don't be surprised if it's heating now, as i read Samsung needs about a week/two to learn your usage pattern. My A52s was heating too until a week and half later.

                UltraHD, 21 Mar 2023Maybe it's a bug in an app who knows, i got a few ques... moreI've only been using it for 5 days, no issues so far, so much better than that shitty e1280, the performance is very close to sd778g. unfortunately the temperature is a bit higher than sd778g, the performance and stability goes down a bit when that happens. I'm not sure I can suggest this if your current smartphone uses sd778g even if it's xiaomi 12 lite where the performance is lower than other sd778g, unless you really have a problem with MIUI and want a better OS.

                    If this phone was equipped with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 or at least Gen 1 it would have been a superb device to own. But because of Samsung's greed and wanted to increase margin at any cost, decided to put Exynos junk instead. This attitude will make sure that Chinese alternatives continue to have dominant presence on the value side and also help Apple iPhone (older models) on the premium performance side as in both sides Samsung has no answer.

                          I want to upgrade my A52 Qualcomm but stay in the same price range. Too bad they only do Exynos version now.

                            No charger in the Box.

                              Is the software smooth in A54? No issues or glitches due to processor? That's all i want to know since everything else i already experienced with A52s. I also want to ask if there's no issues overall with stability etc.

                                Look good specs but still needs few more features

                                    Pretty much the same as A53 or A52. Samsung purposefully didn’t hype it because they don’t have anything new or to advertise about the Ax4 models. Just the same cheap cameras and underpowered processors. If you want something that is worth the money go buy A52 5g. I’m really disappointed this year by Samsung I really looked forward to this smartphone.
