    Why are so expensive? 3 years ago these Samsung smartphones cost ~£270, and now almost doubled the price!!! Cheapest one... £ 449...! CRAZY!

      I just saw benchmarks from geekbench 6 A54 vs Xiaomi 13 Lite which has Snapdragon 7 gen 1. A54 singlecore score: 1002, Multicore score: 2825. And Xiaomi 13 Lite singlecore 927 and multicore 2642.

The... moreI also had a Nokia 3.4 and it was horrible, I received android 11 when android 12 came out and I didn't receive 12 until September 2022 😅. The phone became so laggy and frustrating, never buy Nokia as they are a small company and they can't push out timely, optimised updates.

            Seriously this is a crap phone. In 2023 look at the charging speeds, the chipset, that ugly bottom bezel.

Personally i think my HDR function on 12 Lite is buggy lol because it only happens if i slightly swipe up the gesture or tap up/down the volume buttons. So if A54 happens to not have it, i'm okay with that.

I have the A 52s and I think that it still is the king of A 5x series. The A53 was more expensive with inferior chipset and no charger included, what a disappointment. I was looking forward to see what Samsung A54 would offer but to be disappointed again with a smaller screen and Exynos chipset that still can't beat SD778G.
                  2 year pass and I'm still waiting for SS to wow me like the A 52s did.

                      People with a53: bruh, it uses plastic, it is ugly, Samsung should use crystal

The fact is original Nokia people are aware of doesn't really manufacture phones anymore and what you currently see as "Nokia phones" are really made by HMD who is licensed to use Nokia branding on their phones. HMD and Nokia are two separate companies. HMD phones are junk in terms of software support, performance or features. The only good thing about HMD phones is its looks and everything after it is a Full stop.

                              The terrible experience with my previous phone, the failed model Nokia 7.2, still haunts me. There are extensive bugs in the model 7.2 some are suspected to be hardware issue which are unfixable through firmware update like the famous Image retention issue in the Nokia 7.2 which anyone can google. I was forced to buy new phone when Nokia decided to release promised Android 11 upgrade late by almost 1year. The update caused various issues and the most serious issue was the charging feature of the phone got broken after the update and each time when you need to charge the phone you have to restart the phone for the charging process to initiate. HMD was adamant to even admit such an issue exists for more than a month. Due to no hope in HMD releasing a bug fix update anytime soon I was forced to get rid of HMD 7.2 and buy Galaxy A52s 5G and feels happy and relived since then.

                              I would say Never Buy Nokia Nor Support Nokia.

                                Jemlim, 17 Mar 2023Give me sources for your claim.I've seen some early tests and new Exynos inside A54 is very very close to 778G, they fixed everything that was wrong with A53.
                                I had Galaxy A52s, people are overreacting with these things. A52s was good (even though it had an issue with vibration motor which is why i changed it) but it's almost 2 years old at this point, it won't last forever.
                                I'm really impressed with the new A54 so far and i'm considering getting it later this year when contract expires.
                                Exynos might not seem good but snapdragon had downfalls too so let's not forget that.

Why would you recommend Nokia over other brands? There's nothing good with latest Nokia phone. If you buy their shit specs phone just for headphones jack, there's really something wrong with you.
