A52s actually has a worse screen. No 1000 nits (max) and no 500 nits (slider)? The A54 has a 1380 that does on par to the 778G in the A52s. They both do around 500K on AnTuTu v9 and 780/2650 (GB5).
A54 may have less MP but that doesn't mean squat in real world comparisons. MP is a marketing term to think the more here is, the better the camera is, to fool non-tech savvy consumers. No depth lens is fine + you don't need 4 or 5 lens, too. The 2 on the 14/13 line do fine.
You get BT 5.3 with eSIM ready, too. No headphone jack? Cry about it. It's 2023 and just buy like 10 dollar dongles. If you can buy a sub 400$ (USD) phone, I am damn sure you can buy something that's 40x cheaper.

I just replaced the battery of my A52, and if this trend of rising prices and removal of features continues, I won't "upgrade" to a Galaxy A57 in 3 years.

In my opinion, this is just another expensive downgrade from the powerful and long-lasting A52s, which I use.

Ahmed, 15 Mar 2023Too heavy Bad aspect ratio Too law screen to body ratio ... moreI like the bezel around the screen, those ones that go all the way to the edge are just a pain cause you end up touching things when you just go to pick it up, then you put a cover on it and end up covering the edges anyway.

Worse camera, worse display, weaker and inefficient CPU and gpu, NO headphone jack, and all the other stats didn't change. Samsung is a joke.

Casio, 15 Mar 2023colors copied from both Iphone 14 and Pixel 7, thick bezel,... moreSamsung literally used those colours even before the launch of iPhone 14 and Pixel 7, so why would you call that a copy? Slightly thicker bezel, yes, but is 202g a problem? I don't think so especially since it's using a glass back not a plastic back.

I bought the A53 a week ago as I wasn't sure if the A54 might be too expensive. Then I had second thoughts when I heard that the A54 was coming out so soon. Well, I'm so glad I bought the A53. The A54 at 202 grams is way too heavy. I will never buy a phone over 190 grams. The A54 is wider and thicker as well, both negatives in my view.

So is Bluetooth. So is a speaker. So is a vibration motor. Might as well remove Bluetooth and Wi-Fi since they are both ancient. Make them only have 5G support.
