According to your logic, no successor to iPhone 6s has been released yet, therefore, the iPhone 8 is obviously worse than the 6s (the 6s does have a headphone jack though). Notice a pattern? The A52s has a headphone jack while the A53 doesn't, just like iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 🤣
Does the Galaxy A53 have IP68 water resistance because they removed the jack? NO! It still has IP67! JUST LIKE THE IPHONE 7 🤣

Headphone Jack? No (thanks Apple. Actually, no, not just Apple, the companies that followed)
Replaceable Battery? No
IR blaster? No
Expandable Storage? I'm honestly surprised the A54 has it if it does at this point.
Android? More restricted as the years go on and you NEED to like material You to like Android 12 and up. People that don't like it apparently don't exist since no support for just sticking with stock UI was ever an option.
IOS? While IOS 9 was my favorite version (control center was the best imo) and the app store having a dedicated updates page was great, guess what? Android 12 has bigger quick setting buttons because you have no choice, but to accept it as it is unless you are on One UI or whatever didn't inherent this change. Now lets see. The app updates menu takes more taps to reach in Google play when it used to be so easy before. All you used to have to do was swipe and then tap once. Done. Everything was there in tabs. Installed apps, apps that were pending install, beta apps, your library, everything. Now it's all separated and frustrating.
Elastic overscroll on Android? Yeah, you can't turn that off unless you want to disable literally every animation. It stretches everything which makes me nauseous while Apple's bouncy type scroll I don't like, but nothing really stretches.
If iOS follows through with 3rd party app installation, I can see it being an OS I would recommend over Android.

When Apple removed the Headphone jack on the iPhone 7, they made sure to buy out the largest competitor in the Wireless Headphones market (Beats). Now Beats has just become a shadow of its former glory.
Meanwhile Apple now has more than 75% of the market share of Bluetooth headphones.
It's not that it took up space; someone put a headphone jack in the iPhone 7, even now, enthusiast gaming phones (like ROG phone 6) still have the headphone jack.
Why? Obviously because nothing else comes close. Not to mention that having a headphone jack doesn't mean you can't use Bluetooth headphones. Those 2 are not incompatible.
But Apple forced their way to make money and other companies realised they could get away with it too.
