Folu, 11 Jan 2023I was also like you disapointed due to lack of headphone ja... moreBluetooth headphones are crap and even the best ones are inferior to wired headphones. That's assuming your Soc actually supports high-fidelity codecs (most Android phones use AAC, which is terrible on Android).
On top of that, there is the problem of latency. Bluetooth headphones can have anywhere from 200 ms to 600 ms latency and when you're playing games where that really matters, especially FPS games, you NEED wired headphones.
I bought a 3.5 mm to USB-C adapter but now I am concerned about wear and tear on the USB port. I usually game in short sessions (10 to 15 mins) but many times a day, so I often plug in and pull out headphones and this has led to significant wear on the audio jack of one of my older phones (but I have been using that phone for 5+ years now, even the LCD is failing).
There is a third option, which is somewhat a middle ground. I can find low latency bluetooth headphones ("low" being around 40 to 60 ms) and use those, although the ones with the lowest latency (4 ms) use their own dedicated WiFi dongle instead of Bluetooth.
Soundpeats H1 looks really good for the price and has everything I need + wireless charging.

The MicroSD card slot removal is actually more understandable because it's not about limiting your storage (by taking away expandable storage), it's that most memory cards are actually extremely cheap and use low-quality flash memory. Apart from being unreliable and prone to overheating, they are extremely slow.
As you may have noticed, modern Android phones use UFS 3 or above (1450 MB/s each way) and microSD cards simply cannot keep up. Most common microSD cards will barely go above 10 MB/s write speed.
I also have a Note 9 (my favourite Android phone of all time, check out my comment on that phone's page) and I bought a Samsung 256 GB Evo MicroSD card (one of the best) and the write speed on that goes up to 90 MB/s.
Android 12 and above also switched to FBE (File Based Encryption) compared to older versions of Android which used FDE (Full Disk Encryption) and this also requires much faster memory.
But more than anything else, I miss the safety of having a separate partition (SD card) that wouldn't get wiped during updates or while flashing custom ROMs.

Anonymous, 11 Jan 2023Dude, it's 2023, use bluetooth like normal people.Bluetooth can have a delay (at least mine have sometimes randomly), you have to charge your earbuds or headphones, takes longer to connect if you're switching between multiple devices, you have to enable functions instead of just plugging it in somewhere and it directly works... Switched to wireless buds for a year and I am back at wired ones because they are so much more convenient for me and I don't have to charge them

You can tell that with how the A53 resembles the S22
But this year, Samsung copy pasted their S23 design on ALL of their phones. Even the cheapest A14 looks the same

Worsen uninspiring design. They should stop doing this to series A. It's not worth it.

you have to suffer, 12 Jan 2023thats for a74.aside its been rumored no more samsung A7 this year
A-series always use mid-class soc, so it wont using latest soc that reserved for S-series (and s-tabs), so latest top soc in a-series that wont happen
if a74 released in next few months the best soc it can get is SD 7 gen 2

I would imagine that the exynos 1380 falls somewhere in between the Snapdragon 768G and the Snapdragon 7 gen1/Snapdragon 778G+. Though it's more like Dimensity 920 and 7 gen as the a34 has a Dimensity 1080

Is it just me or Samsung is slowly changing the smartphones design, specifically the camera bump, to a simple and all-looking-the-same type?
