S21 will be update till 1st quarter of 2026 and android 15 update.
So by longevity perspective, A54 is choice.
S21 does have poor battery life.
Except for telephoto lens, rest lens give you 85-90 percent of result.
By performance wise too, if you are not gaming then you won't miss much.

After one UI 6 Android 14 update , camera on Samsung galaxy A54, when snapped, has yellow temperature to their photos, unlike on older version (One Ui 5.1 ) where everything was okay with colours. Viewfiender on camera app seems okay, but when photo snapped, image turns out yellowish (especialy images of people and pets) in regular/mid lighting conditions.
Please check that and provide us with fix on next software patch update.
There is also other complaints about this problem on Samsung A54 reddit forum, so please fix it for us.

give a suggestion for the samsung s21, which has better features, but in the comments I find that the battery wears out quickly and it is almost the same price 275 eur with this samsung a54 270 eur with a slightly bigger battery, but it seems that there is also a quick consumption of the battery, so I am in a dilemma which one to buy for my daughter, any opinion would be welcome

Trofeo, 24 Mar 2024So what is it that you decided to buy?with xiaomi you get more in the package but you also lose, I have somewhat older models from these two brands and MIUI from Xiaomi is terrible and messy for me, with Samsung it is nicely arranged and this old xiaomi redmi note 8 is stylish very beautiful and it has a great display but updates are bad and it has flaws like, viber and wnatsapp messages are late or in video calls the picture or the sound is lost, so I wanted to sell it, but no one is coming to buy it, while for the older Samsung it happens immediately sells, it means the value is higher, the second decision is because of the better camera, because with xiaomi the colors are artificial sometimes as if you painted the pictures, it affected me and I don't know if there is an improvement, but in the review for Xiaomi again the problem with the photo is mentioned, if Samsung doesn't meet my criteria, then I will easily sell it and look for something else. Honestly, I also have the Honor 8 X, which is the best combination for me, everything is smooth there and it's still my first phone and I'm waiting if it appears in my market "Honor 100 pro" I'll be the first to buy it, for 400~500 eur you get the real pro.

pane, 23 Mar 2024what is the disadvantage of this phone?I am using this phone together with a Galaxy S23. At first, I don't see the price difference being justified. Both fulfill my use perfectly. Some things that could be improved on the A54 in my opinion.
Less edges, honestly I don't care that much about the edges, but I think that as all the competitors have smaller edges, I think it's a mistake to make them this size. Macro camera, despite being standard in the price range, I find it useless. Here in Brazil, it is the law to come with a charger in the box, but all competitors, including some Redmi, Realme and Motorola, deliver 45W, 67W chargers while Samsung only delivers a 15W charger.
Exynos is ok for me, it runs all the games I play. It heats up an average of 4ºC more than the S23's Snapdragon, but it is more noticeable when playing games or on hot days. On cold days it maintains a good temperature. I don't care for the plastic sides, even though I think the sides of the new A55 are prettier.

before they put the charger and cable, silicone protection, even headphones in the box,some still do,
but it's important that there is no disease and that it meets today's requirements,

The biggest disadvantage is there is no charger in the box which is one of the most disturbing things i faced when i bought this phone
I have been using the phone for 8 months and this is my honest review based on my user experience

It doesn't lag while multitasking
Yes you can connect wored headphones via usb c
The mobile netwrok speeds are all good haven't faced slow speeds although i would not recommend turning on mobile data when you are not using the phone there is about 2% every hour battery drain when screen is off
Gaming performance is decent after all updates
Be aware to updates your phone monthly
You will not get the ideal battery backup a week or more after you buy it but the more heavily you use it in the first days the more the ui will adapt to your usage and prolong your battery life and reduce heating issues

let's get information from you because I'm about to buy this phone, and it's the 8/256Gb variant for 310 eur,
I'm in a dilemma with the xiaomi note 13 pro which offers 12/512Gb for 350 eur,
the choice fell on samsung but the comments confuse me,
well since you have the same model and my needs are;
durable battery, but I'm not interested in games,
then the quality of the photos from the camera. And does it slow down or freeze with several open applications and several open windows when searching?
Certainly, does it have a good connection for mobile data?
Can I connect it via USB Type C to 3.5mm adapter to wired headphones?

Leonardo, 22 Mar 2024To the fans of this brand, please be quiet, no one needs yo... moreYou have got a defective unit even after playing at 60 fps on pubg mobile long time without air conditioning in hot days( 35°c +)the phone gets upto 40 degrees and with proper ac the temp stays at 38 degrees the same can be said for asphalt 9 cod mbile 60 fps has highest temp of 36 degrees i faced none of the issues you mentioned
My variant is a546e/ds the heating issues were only at the launch i got my phone(8/256) for 1380 riyal (360$ at that moment) after 4.5 months of its launch
So the ones who are prasing this phones actually got standard units don't cry if your unit is not upto the mark

To the fans of this brand, please be quiet, no one needs your opinion about this phone problem. This phone is very problematic regardless of the built-in or installed screen recorder it often crashes, often overheated at 41° celsius (105.8°F), often freezes after exiting any games and it often freezes and force restarts even if I'm just sitting in the lobby of a game on the lowest graphics. With a price of $410 for the performance of the 2017 flagship phone, it is not worth it due to the problems.
"But, it depends on the price you get what you pay for" blah..blah..blah shut up.
