As for the sms thing: Make sure to save local contacts starting with the country code +92 instead of 92 or +0092 or no country code. That helped with my old Galaxy A51 and an uncle's new OnePlus (either 12R or 13R it was). If that doesn't help, then your best option is to seek help from your network provider.

I think they're banking on their software updates for the newer models... the gap between the price of A55 and A56 in 2025 has a hugeeeee margin for devices that are marketed as a new generation of the A series.
also, a55 is now not being sold on official online channels and they are promoting the a56! its a good time to get the a55 on other channels now since it has gone significantly cheaper, considering that it is literally ONE YEAR OLD. Get it while its fresh guys

I am using this handset from last 4/5 months, Only build quality and shap is awesome, camera is so so, but i am having a very big problem with SMS App & calling... Call reception is very bad, singal quality is very low, too much problem with calling/ signals.. Further after switching and backup data from other phone to this, I cannot send sms to anyone or previously saved contacts, But so can send a new sms to new number, beyond this, also cannot send sms without connecting internet that is very irritated thing... When I press call button directly from sms window it always not showing +0092 Pakistan code and its starting from 92 only thats the reason sms cannot send... Can anyone guide on this?

When the A55 launched in 2024, the price of the A54 did not significantly fall much since the newer model didn't have any great improvements over the A54.
However, after the A56 has launched (with 6 OS updates), the price of the A55 has fallen by a far greater margin, compared to last year. I could literally choose between the latest M series and A55 for the same budget.

So you have to carry a external device like hutch dog ad in India along with the phone?. Useless job.
I use 512 GB micro SD card in all my phones and I can format my phone whenever needed without backing up externally. Prove the the same in S24 or similar phones with no way to backup externally or else keep off from here.
