VG, 30 May 2025On my phone it`s feels better after update!My battery drain has been stable and probably better. Yesterday I used the phone from 100% down to 87% in about 1 hr 47min in a mixed use between Facebook, WhatsApp YouTube websites etc.. That's really good
The only issue is that it even closes working apps that should be working in the background. That's irritating

For me it has been the finger print scanner... I have to do it multiple times for it to work... Tried multiple updates and even registering again same issue.
The screen picked a crack within 1 month of usage ... I've had phones for the last 10 years and this has never happened. I choose not to bother with screen replacement, since they wanted money yet am on warranty in the name of service fee nkt.
Been owning the phone for 15 months now and love the experience except for the finger print scanner which am already used to the flaw. The crack is too tiny for anyone to notice

Mostly phone fits its requements. So i take it as my main 5 g android phone. When new G comes out needs to move forward, so you dont be hacked using old phone. Expeirince takes some time to use samsung mirgation app from old phone, addictionaly migrating my files and photos to new phone. samsung A55 has better corners, but still using back cover for it, so phone dont work out too much.

This is a great phone, pretty reliable for everyday normal tasks. Besides, the build quality is nice too

I am 100% sure that some of A55 models have manufacturing defects in microphone motherboard
Problem-i have to speak louder so that other can hear
Luckily i had warranty

[deleted post]I want to upgrade the phone with Pixel 9 instead to Samsung S25 Vanilla! Because Pixel it's the best in top notch Security and faster Software Updates. S25 base model have advantage to be slim, light and have more powerful processor Qualcomm Elite ! The price for base version 128GB / 12 RAM it's approximately the same.

Worst phone... weak signals... Samsung always has signal problems, i was using MI 10T and Oneplus Nord 5G and both had very good signals in my area but when i switched to Galaxy A55 facing a serious issue with signals calling network.. its worst... camera is also not good specially front, colorless front cam.. after using 5 months phone is getting slow... I used OnePlus Nord 5g from 2021 t0 2025 and its speed was still quick as was in 2021... another major problem with SMS app.. I used SMS backup restore and restored all my sms from previous phone but i cant send sms to anyone until they send me at once... message not sent error... only can send sms to a new number... cant send to those whose sms backup restored... too much disappointed with this phone

A second screen locked situation since the last update some days ago. The phone is responsive to external calls and the announcements are moving on the screen, but without any reaction to whatever I am trying to do on it.

Sincerely I don't know what do you want! For Android 12 don't exist official Support, only Android 13 have Security Patch but not for long time.Remain Android 14 available with support Android 15 and Android 16 have only Pixel official public Stable Version Release for the moment!

[deleted post]Sincerely I don't know! Google improve more Security and Vulnerability with Android 15 and Pixel Phone have now Android 16 and it's not possible to downgrade to another version of Android 15 it's incremental to Android 15! Switch all phone minimum to Android 14 .
