VG, 07 Dec 2024Wondering about Volte, in my phone i can't turn it on ... moreIt depends on the mobile operator, the provider. If it provides such a service, then it should be automatically activated on the phone. If it does not, then you will not find such settings. Telia and Tele2 (I know only these operators working in Sweden) provide these services in other markets as i know. I do not know how in Sweden is. But if Tele2 provides them to all its customers (for both, contract customers and prepaid customers), then Telia provides Volte only with contracts, as far as i know about other markets where these operators operate. You can check in settings is this feature activated, just go to (in Samsung A55): settings - network - mobile network here you have to see Volte name and activated settings. If there is no here Volte, probably means your operator do not provide Volte yet.

Same with my mom's S20, updated the phone (even after I told her not to) and green lines appeared shortly.
Screen permanently damaged after updating the phone. I don't know how a software can cause a hardware damage.
It's especially annoying because my mom's S20 was just over 2 year old. So can't claim warranty.

kinkam, 06 Dec 2024Hi. Nope, no problems at all with my A52s.Good to hear, I suppose. If there are no issues with it, then you can wait. As I said, A52s is already on the level of A35. So getting an A55 would be a waste, since any upgrades would be negligible. Only real benefit would be esim support in the A55, and even that is not worth it unless you travel abroad a lot.

Dio4444, 06 Dec 2024Can confirm after using this for 2 months, Exynos still hav... moreAccording to connect.de (in their review of the A55) and my brother-in-law (he has a Galaxy A33 of his own and a Galaxy A55 issued from his company) the problem seems to be that the A55 has decently strong 4G reception strengths and weak 5G reception strengths in areas with moderate or worse coverage. He turns off 5G and uses 4G only when he wants to use hotspot with the A55, using 5G only in areas with excellent coverage. However, I would like to point out that I haven't been able to confirm this myself when I got a chance to handle the device.
This is a very weird issue. It is not just the Exynos modem; something must be up with the antenna set-up as well. I don't mean with your device only, by the way. I mean just with this model on the whole. I mean... Look at the A33 and A53: They both have the exact same SOC, yet the A33 has stronger signal reception strengths than the A53. So the issues with the latter must be with the antennae. May be it's the same here? Like I said: very weird.
