Dio4444, 06 Dec 2024Can confirm after using this for 2 months, Exynos still hav... moreAccording to connect.de (in their review of the A55) and my brother-in-law (he has a Galaxy A33 of his own and a Galaxy A55 issued from his company) the problem seems to be that the A55 has decently strong 4G reception strengths and weak 5G reception strengths in areas with moderate or worse coverage. He turns off 5G and uses 4G only when he wants to use hotspot with the A55, using 5G only in areas with excellent coverage. However, I would like to point out that I haven't been able to confirm this myself when I got a chance to handle the device.
This is a very weird issue. It is not just the Exynos modem; something must be up with the antenna set-up as well. I don't mean with your device only, by the way. I mean just with this model on the whole. I mean... Look at the A33 and A53: They both have the exact same SOC, yet the A33 has stronger signal reception strengths than the A53. So the issues with the latter must be with the antennae. May be it's the same here? Like I said: very weird.

Can confirm after using this for 2 months, Exynos still have Cellular Network problem, and hotspot disconnecting problem. vs using my old Mi 9T from 5 years ago. this phone is worst in term of signal capture.
the game performance is also bad for the price since the chipset is strong on CPU but low in GPU despite it has capability of modern rendering technique.
but mainly i dont game on Phone anymore, only on Tablet. but again it is sad that the signal problem still exist.

The a55 has strong spec's for gaming especially the xclipse 530 gpu but the problem come from games that are not well optimized for this specific a55 hardware so high demanding games would not take full advantage of the a55 hardware to preform at its best. However, I've seen how games like warzon were preforming poorly on it when it first came out and after update patches from the game it has gotten better same with other COD and pubj there were graphics issues when first came out and after few months with new game updates performance has improved
From my experience games like Minecraft, COD were preforming good and genshin impact was running at high fps and I think the device can handle all of these with no problem it is just that developers need to optimize their games for the a55 hardware.
