Why Gorilla Glass Victus+, though? And an aluminum frame?
This is going to be an unpopular opinion, but it would be better if they just went back to A50 days of GG3 and plastic frame/back. After that, they could either lower the price or keep the price but add 5W wireless charging or something.
(I know why they won't do this though. To keep the premium S and the midrange A models separate. But we already have some of their features with less integrity; like IP67, not-top-of-the-line OIS, alright stereo speakers, etc)

Exynos 1480 is finally at the level that makes for a strong midrange phone. The argument against Exynos is now dead, at the midrange. Sure, you can buy a Chinese phone that doesn't have much support past a year or two, and gosh knows what is happening with your information. The 1480 is butter smooth and will only improve with more optimization.

charmy9, 21 Mar 2024is it better to get a s21fe or a55 ??if you have A53 or A54, i wouldn't suggest upgrading to this since there isn't much upgrade. but if you have other older or lower specs models, i would definitely recommend A55 as you're getting a better deal. and if you really care about esim since this is the first samsung mid-range to have esim slot, right?
i think samsung should stop producing new models for a year and come back with better specs and new design in 2026. unless they decide to add snapdragon chipset back into their mid-range series next year
